Mar 30th 2013 9:55PM All this "house" is, is a childs playhouse, nothing more, and the ones around here aren't even close to being in the $20 thousand dollar range. You could put a reverse cycle heat and air window unit and apartment size appliances for dirt cheap. IMO, if it doesn't have a shower, it's not a house. Around here it is easy to find real houses in that price range, granted they might need some work, but at least they are full size houses.

Mar 11th 2013 12:20PM I have never understood why places like these are allowed to become ruins. Why are they not maintained and kept in their orignial state of beauty? Yes, I know it cost money, but look at the amount of money spent on building new structures when these are available to be renovated. Instead of becoming eyesores, either renovate them or tear them down, just letting them sit there is a disgrace. As far as Detroit goes, what can be said, other than what a shame that a once bustling town has come down to this.

I had my fill of neighbors like you, that will find the least little thing to bitch about, and of course your kids and dog are perfect, not like those other kids, who will one day turn into jail birds for drawing on the sidewalk with chalk. You might wake up one morning and find out someone substituted spay paint for the chalk and painted right in front of your house! AH

Mar 20th 2012 9:14PM I will never again buy in a subdivision that has a HOA. We were sued by our HOA, and even though we won, it was still a useless waste of time and money on the HOA part. Our subdivision had a law about removing trees without their written permission. Our neighbor's huge oak tree was leaning over our roof and some of the branches were rubbing against my daughters bedroom window and damaging the shingles on the roof. We were terrified it was going to crash into her room and kill her, since the tree was old and had some type of disease killing part of the base. We went to the HOA to get their permission and they turned us down, even though we had the neighbors permission and we were willing to pay the $750.00 to have it removed. They even refused to let us have the branches cut. So, we took it upon ourselves to go ahead and do it anyway, for the safety of my daughter and to prevent further damage to the roof. We received an order to appear in court, which we went to and took the pictures we had as evidence to show the judge. She ruled in our favor, citing a possible danger to us and the HOA was ordered to repay us for the tree removal. After that they called the police to cite us with leaving a tagless car parked in the cul-de-sac, but since they didn't bother to investigate, as to weither the car was actually ours,which it wasn't, they wasted their time again. We got a lawyer and sued them for harasment and again won. We sold the house and moved after all was said and done, and I refuse to go through something like that again.

They should come do my job, as a CNA, where you get paid, if your lucky, $9.00 an hour to wipe butts, get puked on, peed on, spit on, verbally and physically abused, and your expected to remain professional at all times while this is going on. Don't get me wrong, I still love my job and taking care of people, and yes, I know that flight attendants have to put up with alot also, but it would be nice to get paid more to put up with it all.

Sep 27th 2011 8:33PM Blacks get upset about the flag, I get upset with alot of the things that they do, also. Everyone needs to get off the race thing and get on with their lives. I'm not particularly fond of their Black Entertainment network, their black colleges, the NAACP, the Black Caucus, the African clothing that some of them wear, the chains around their license plates, their constant referral to whites being the ones who are racist, when it is prevalent within their race just as much, and the long list goes on. I choose to live my life as a christian and accept things that might not be to my liking. I would waste valuble time if I complained about everything that I don't agree with. I say get a life and get over it.

Jun 14th 2011 4:07PM I feel for this family, but why was an 11 year old on this ride alone? I can't imagine anyone even wanting to ride it by themselves, I'm an adult and wouldn't get on it alone. Second, why do they not have laws requiring any and all amusment rides to provide safety restraints? It's crazy that most all states have seat belt laws for vehicles with the exception of buses including school buses, which is something I have never understood. Hopefully this girls family can get some kind of law passed so it will prevent this from happening again.

Jun 1st 2011 9:45AM I believe plastic surgery is the reason her face looks so bad. I read she had breast surgery that went bad, so the reason for the big lump on her chest. I don't understand why these women can't be happy with the looks god gave them and leave their faces alone, most of them look 100 times worse after it is done. I would be suing the plastic surgeon if it was my face!
