Health Care Reform Opponents' Ads Target Obama's Vineyard Vacation {Politics Daily}

Sep 7th 2009 1:07PM Stingerita: Not everyone that isn't working are lazy. Some are just unemployed, or disabled. Get healed from that rabid ultraconservativism, so you can see things clearer. You're so blind to the truth.

Monkeys Prefer Heavy Metal Music {Asylum}

Sep 5th 2009 12:22PM Monkeys love heavy metal. So for the so called theory that we humans are descendants sp? of monkeys. Unlike animals, humans are free moral agents, free to make our own choices. Monkeys go with their instincts because they are animals. enough said.

Political Insider Predicts Big Election Losses for Congressional Democrats {Politics Daily}

Aug 27th 2009 3:57PM I'm beginning to think that the solution to our ills could come from some free thinking Lou Dobbs Independents. We've tanked our country by electing the same type of politicians, whom only serve themselves. I think it's time to elect more Indepedents and third party candidates, rather than supporting the same political machine financed by both Democrats and Republicans.

Many thought he was a goofball, but I think we missed an opportunity when we didn't elect either Ross Perot, or Patrick J Buchanan as our President. We'd be in a position of power today, rather than standing at the edge of a cliff, ready to fall off. Even Ron Paul would have been better than Obama and Bush. It's going to be a long fight back to what this Country was meant to be, BUT we can do it if we are strong, persistant, and never ever give up. We HAVE TO start electing the right people for a change, and stop buying into the same BS that's sold to us in EVERY election.

STOP, THINK, Think again, PRAY and Vote.

In the Senate and On the Left, Who Will Take Teddy's Place? (And in What Lifetime?) {Politics Daily}

Aug 26th 2009 5:08PM There's an old expression I was taught growing up: If you can't say something nice about someone, don't say anything at all. This most certainly applies to those who can only mock the passing of Ted Kennedy. There are those who just can't forget his past sins. He wasn't perfect, but he was the most effective, passionate senator of our time. He accomplished much for the betterment of this country, and I, for one, will miss him. My prayers for his family.

If you can't say anything nice about the man, and his passing, shut up, and be silent. May God have mercy on Him.

Aug 22nd 2009 4:47PM Stinger, i detect a hint of racism in your post.....Thugocracy? Would you rather have a theocracy under Repuke rule? the truth of the matter is, after billions spent monthly on two wars we can't possibly win durin the past eight years, it's going to take longer than the few months Obama's been in office to fix it. Stop the hate, and become part of the solution. And no, I'm not African American, I'm Caucasian. And before you start accusing me of a lack of a work ethic, try and get to know the person first. You know nothing about me, so don't even try.

Aug 22nd 2009 4:34PM DanBrady: you'll never see a voter revolt. We're too busy trying to keep our head above water. we're too busy taking care of our families. The government has done this on purpose, to keep us so busy working, that we wouldn't have time to revolt for the change we need.

Orwell's 1984 was only 25 years off. And this is just the lull before the storm. Our country will continue to fall and fall right into the upcoming New World Order headed by Obama himself. There are no real plans to stop the flow of illegal immigrants either. There's going to come a time, when all borders are collapsed, and people will freely cross borders to the south and north, and around the world.

And whatever you all do, DO NOT TAKE THE MARK!!

Aug 21st 2009 9:28PM The Country elected Barrack Obama President, get over it already. He's part of the solution. We needed a young, fresh, innovative mind like his. I used to be so influenced by the negative naysayers of the Republican Party, until I woke up. He's getting attacked more because he's telling the truth. No one wants to hear the truth these days. We get caught up in the banter of both parties, instead of listening to this young president. My God, He's younger than I am by I think three years. SO WHAT.....If we start to lean more towards socialism. Sometimes we have to think outside the box for the solutions to our problems. I certainly wouldn't want the nation to go to the other extreme, where it's everyone for him or herself and the rest be damned. That's social darwinism. We will solve our problems together as a nation, or we shall surely fall. So, right wingers, stop your belly aching, and become part of the solution. Stop searching for things to complain about and drop your rhetoric. Let's put our collective thinking caps on, and really think about the nation as a whole, one big family. We're in this thing together, like it or not.

Mike Huckabee Remains Obama's Strongest Challenger for 2012, Poll Shows {Politics Daily}

Aug 21st 2009 4:58PM get it straight! The problems we're going through aren't a democrat v republican thing, it isn't even a liberal v conservative thing. it's the very fact that the whole system is corrupt absolutely.

Robert Novak, 'The Prince of Darkness,' Dead at 78 {Politics Daily}

Aug 18th 2009 4:50PM It's not a democrat or republican thing. It's not even a liberal v conservative thing. The whole mess is corrupt in Washington, and throughout America. We're just on the verge of going over the cliff into utter hell, never mind the handbasket.

U.S. runs low on sugar, get ready for high prices {WalletPop}

Aug 16th 2009 2:05PM I'd also like to suggest, that the reason there's so much obesity and diabetes in America is our own stress levels. American society has such a rediculous notion that everyone needs a big house, big car, etc., That it's an unattainable goal for a great deal of us, yet we work 60+ hrs a week, trying to reach this goal. It puts a strain on the family, children, couples, etc that many of us reach for what comforts us, FOOD.

It wouldn't be so bad if the food we reached for was like fruits and veggies. But we know we don't, that doesn't comfort us like potato chips, Pop, cakes, cookies, and other assorted sweets. We also reach for things like mashed potatoes, full of carbs. Carb addiction is very high right now.

If we could just set our sights a little lower, we'd see a dip in our stress levels. Stress has been proven to increase glucose levels. Stress and anxiety are major contributors to the rise in untreated diabetes. Stress and anxiety in many people causes us to drink that pop, among other unhealthy habits. I know this for certain, because Pepsi was my drug of choice.

I just got out of the hospital because my sugars were too high. Stress was definitely the major factor in me drinking up. Just another victim in a society that is so out of whack, living outside God's will for us as individuals, and as a nation. We're addicted to an artificial high.
