Mar 1st 2012 2:24PM I stayed at a very swank hotel in Detroit one night; after a lovely dinner, I thought that I would go out for a nice walk and started thru the door when the gentleman a the door asked me if I was going outside; I told him that I was going to take some air and what would he recommend... He said: "Sir, I'm 6'5" and weigh 245#'s and I wouldn't go out and walk about... And you people want to bash Puerto Vallarta, take a look at your own Crime Rate in your City First...

Jun 22nd 2011 12:22PM When Glen Campbell lived here in Arizona, I had the pleasure of playing a round of Golf with him; he was and is beyond an engaging person; we had breadfast, and throughout it he told story after story; he had everyone laughing, from the waiters to staff he was extremely kind; he ate a meal that was big enough for three people and laughed all the way thru... I was the member, but he insisted on leaving the tip and it was large! I've never played a round of golf before or since then that was as pleasureable as that day! My best wishes are with you Glen and my thoughts and prayers!

Vernois ginger ale; I remember when as a kid, we used to go down to the Vernois plant, which then was very close to the landing for the Bob a lo Boat, and there was a Popcorn stand where you could buy a nickle bag of popcorn and watch the boat go to the Island... Great fun, back in the day, the Hudson's thanksgiving parade; and all us kids used to go to Hundson's to see all the Christmas displays... It was our Disneyland at the time; what memories...
