Human castles may make UNESCO World Heritage list {Gadling}
Nov 15th 2010 12:59PM Another cool video here of Castellers de Vilafranca making their first stack of 8 in their history. Great shots looking down so you can see how wide the pinya is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C2wRcaiuNTw&feature=share

Spain cracks down on hookers, requires vests for streetwalkers {Gadling}
Nov 6th 2010 6:05PM Ha! You have to wonder how many people almost run of the road due to their rubber necking!
Top ten cities with best public transit systems {Gadling}
Nov 4th 2010 9:26PM Yes - definitely! Should replace London. Euro1.80 gives 75mins of consecutive ride time on trams, metro and buses anywhere in the city.
Spain cracks down on hookers, requires vests for streetwalkers {Gadling}
Oct 26th 2010 7:50PM The hookers that they're asking to wear the yellow vests, do not work in towns and cities. They set up shop on the sides of secondary highways - the ones that truckers use. It's quite bemusing to be driving along in the middle of nowhere in Spain, and then come across some young thing in the skimpiest of clothing, sitting on a deckchair under an umbrella, waiting for her next client.

VIDEO: Inside new German high-speed train {Gadling}
Oct 19th 2010 8:24PM The most infuriating thing about the ICE trains is that the luggage racks, (for oversized bags that will not fit on the overhead shelves), are ridiculously located in the center of each carriage, meaning that there is invariably a log-jam of people and luggage in the middle of each train. Why they didn't think to put the racks at the end of each carriage (as per the Narita Express in Tokyo) is beyond me. Most unlike the Germans!

Sep 28th 2010 12:38PM Macau deserves to be added to the list.
Daily Pampering: Three most luxurious first-class cabins {Gadling}
Aug 3rd 2010 4:51PM I'm pretty sure that Emirates was among the first airlines to introduce fully-enclosed First Class seats/cabins back around 2005/06, on some of their Boeing 777s, then the Airbus A340, followed by the Airbus A380.
Certainly, I remember seeing their interactive advertising signage for it on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai on the many occasions when I was travelling to the Dubai airport around that time.
