Apr 8th 2011 12:53AM The couple were not at fault for being vegeterians/vegans themselves, but for failing to follow the doctors orders.
And to those who say humans are not meant to be vegetarians, I'm so sorry, but you don't know what you're talking about. I've been a vegetarian for 18 years. In addition to not eating meat, other than what is in salad dressings, mayo, and baked goods, I eat no dairy products, and I don't eat seafood.
I went vegetarian because of my love for animals. I could not go back to eating meat, dairy, eggs, and seafood now because of what I know. I'm a very healthy 62 y/o nurse, thank you very much!
Mar 19th 2011 1:32AM Using toothpaste WILL dry up pimples! Use the all white kind...like Colgate. Put a dab on the pimple before you go to bed, and by morning, if it isn't gone, it will be shrunk considerably. I've done it for years!
Feb 14th 2011 9:18PM We used to own a grocery, and the butcher would get Bells Palsey from going into the frozen meat locker where the strong fan blower would blow on his face. The doctor treated him with B-12 injections, and it worked like a charm with no residual affects. This happened at least 4 times that I remember.
Jan 8th 2011 11:21AM I have to ask why in the world people want to live in any housing that is 'governed' and 'controled' by anyone. If they wanted to pay all the bills for my house, keep it clean..inside and out, and do and pay for all the maintenance work on it, we might be able to talk about it, but otherwise.....no way!
Nov 17th 2010 7:14PM Hi, Sidney! All animals should be allowed to be themselves in their natural habitat. They were not created to be our 'entertainment'. The most wonderful thing about wild animals is the fact that they are 'wild' and beautiful in their 'real life'. Once we take away their freedom and hold them captive, you have killed the one thing that makes them so special and beautiful.
Nov 17th 2010 6:55PM Please! No more captive whales! Let them live their lives at sea where God put them!
Jul 11th 2010 12:57AM No matter what the size of a pig, they are considered livestock/farmed animals, and "zoning restrictions" prohibit such animals within city limits. Please don't get one and think you can hide the pig. The results usually end with the death of the "illegal" animals.
Whether a pig or any other animal is involed, please do not take one in without the same committment that you would have if you adopted a human child. Animals are living beings. They are not toys. Both children and animals need us, but a human child matures and, hopefully, grows up to become independent. A nonhuman animal (we are all animals - just different species) is dependent on us their entire lives.
