Ability to demo more important than price in selling games {Joystiq}
Oct 26th 2006 10:08AM I found the power of the demo when playing the Prey demo. I never thought to even look into buying this game. But after the demo I had to have it! So now for November I have a choice of Gears Of War, FEAR or Call of Duty. Played the FEAR demo and loved it! so I am leaning toward buying it on release day. Gears of War ...um...no demo here. Sorry not going to buy it. Call of Duty ...um ...no demo here either.

But for some reason Joystiq has decided to blog about comments to their articles. Wha?? If the comments were a problem then ban the user. I don't care!! Not need to blog about it!

Deadwood Trips {Gadling}
Jul 6th 2006 4:39PM I went to Deadwood in June 2005 and had a great time. I am a big fan of the show too. The history of the town is great to learn while there. We actually stayed in the Bullock Hotel while we were there. It is build on the same piece of land as the hardware store.
You also cannot forget that Mount Rushmore is only about 1 hour away. The Crazy Horse Monument and Devils Tower (remember from Close Encounters) is also close by.
All in all a great trip if you are at all interested in the show.
By the way Deadwood is in South Dakota not Wyoming.
