Female teacher at Houston school suspended {ParentDish}
Jan 13th 2008 11:34AM You can not be serious asking the question you asked, "What in the world is appealing to an older woman about a teenage boy? ". Without any attempt at being vulgar I would say the reason is somewhat obvious. This is a 42 yo woman, possibly feeling neglected at home, more than likely little to no sexual relations at home and more than likely not feeling all that good about herself at times. The opportunity presents itself for no strings attached sex with a male that springs a constant erection (think back to when you were teens guys) and gives her the attention she is craving. I am in no way saying she was justified in doing what she did but if she worked at Wal Mart and had an affair with a teenage stock clerk would we be reading about it. I think not. How many older women in other professions have affairs with younger males and vice versa. Give it a rest media.
Compressed air car on track for production this year {Autoblog}
Jan 12th 2008 9:08AM Definitely a unique vehicle in both appearance and propulsion system. I have faith in the carbon fiber air tanks. We use them as part of out turn out gear for the Fire Brigade at work. They withstand a lot of abuse and high temperatures so that is not a worry. As for electrical power I would assume that a charging system of some kind (probably an alternator) is installed on the engine similar to a conventional internal combustion engine. I would like to know if the engine is an air driven turbine or not though. Somehow that is what I am envisioning it to be. All of that glass does bother me though. Would be like a green house in the summer and no mention is made of A/C on the vehicle. As for the polution factor of the compressor used to fill the tanks.....well it would be a lot less than the emissions of even the best Hybred out there. Now finding one that can deliver the pressure to fill the tanks may be a problem unless you own a dive shop or another facility where tanks are regularly filled. I dont think the compressor I have for my air tools would deliver enough pressure to do that. Would be nice if it did though. Also as the "fuel" is depleted does that diminish the speed of the vehicle as it does with a CO2 cartridge in a BB gun. The 1st couple of shots are maximum power but as the cardridge empties the velocity of the projectile definitely slows down.
Pit Bull and Baby Chicks {AOL Video Blog}
May 5th 2007 9:29AM I also agree with the majority of the responses posted here. It is not the breed that makes an animal vicious it is the owner and sometimes the inbreeding. You can make a Lab mean and vicious if you train it that way. The Pit Bull has gotten a very bad rap along with several other breeds.
Bed Jumping: Sounds Dirty ... But Isn't {Gadling}
Apr 14th 2007 2:11PM One contributer commented ". you ppl must not have lives if you can't even have a lil fun on vacation. jumping on a bed isn't going to kill it.".....well since he believes this I would like to know if he jumps on his own bed with any regularity or allows his children (if he can stop jumping on the bed long enough to produce a few) on their beds?
Another states "Beds are designed to take some grief. And i highly doubt that a single night (actually probably 3 hours tops) of jumping on them is going to completely ruin a matress etc." Maybe one night of jumping 3 hrs by you but how many others have thought the same and jumped before you?
Having fun on your vacation does not mean you can destroy property or for that matter ruin someone elses vacation by your hyperactive destructive mentality and behavior.
If you were jumping on the bed for your fun and it collapsed and you got hurt I wonder if you would want to sue the Hotel? You probably would even though your chidish antics were what got you hurt in the 1st place.

Is Ford killing the Lincoln Town Car? {Autoblog}
Jul 6th 2006 8:53AM The decision to scrap the TC (if that is indeed fact) will rank right up there in Ford History with the Edsel.
