He was not in a cross walk and driver had right of way .... so many people cross anywhere and cars have to stop for them, in CT it doesn't matter car vs pedestrian the car looses even if it's not in a crosswalk. The driver must lokk and be aware of whats in front of him as well as sides and behind. Was the driver going too fast or not paying attention, were there any witnesses?

Apr 12th 2007 11:32AM I agree, Imus went too far but I also agree that the "Revs" Sharpton and Jackson are just as bad. They are racist to the max. Look at what they said and the remarks that went on for so long with the Brawley case, she admitted that it was a lie and the Duke lacrosse team, how can the accuser get off when her story changed so much and even couldn't remember if there was penitration and the DNA proved they did not do anything, but no apologies from the revs... their remarks were racist since they were white.
I would also like to say post 12 Chasity, is right on. the Afro-Americans (hope politically correct) call each other nigga but if a white person says it they are a racist or get shot if not beat down for saying it.

Jul 6th 2006 7:05AM I am the mechanic of a taxi / livery corp., I would hate to see this happen to the Townie, since it it the most requested vehicle requested. It has a better ride than the Caddy and more economical for repairs. As for the Marquis, it will also be a mistake to end (around 2010) its #2 in our fleet and the Vic too. All of our vehicles are FORD as well as my personal F150.
