Oct 10th 2008 11:14PM well the first reason i should be picked is i'm dutch, 100%. i have never been over seas but want to so bad thats all i think about, i even design trips online all the time but i just dont have the money. especially now, i was hurt pretty seriously and had surgery a week a go. i have been out of work, so my dream of traveling to amsterdam is on hold. please pick me. it has been my dream for years.

But I have another take off question. How come some pilots when turning on to the ramp to take off in the middle of turning they will hit the throttle and start taking off mid turn? Then some pilots wait till they are completely turned then stop then take off? Is it just preference or are they in a hurry?

Aug 23rd 2008 11:14PM I was on a flight not long ago and we were decending and the pilot came on and said "that who ever has their cell phone on needs to turn it off!!". So obviously something happend. Why else would he say that.
