The Real Frank Serpico Looks Back {Cinematical}
Jan 28th 2010 12:08AM I was a rebel in a notorious NY construction local. One of my proudest moments was when the general super at a company where I worked called me "Serpico." I wasn't him, but just having my name associated with his made me proud. God bless him, and the few who are like him. Being a whistleblower is a lonely and sometimes dangerous undertaking. Thank God I had a wonderful wife who was very supportive.
The Real Frank Serpico Looks Back {Cinematical}
Jan 27th 2010 11:26PM God bless Frank Serpico. His type is all too rare, and that's what's wrong with society in general. Not enough Serpicos. In a perfect world, he would be a role model for rookie cops, and kids in general.
Royal Caribbean goes all big brother {Gadling}
Mar 19th 2009 7:21AM Wow, what a surprise!! Actually, anyone with even a little experience can tell the 'paid reviews' from the real and/or honest ones. Whether it be a restaurant, eatery, (they're the biggest violators), a retail store, or an online outlet, the 'paid reviews' are the ones dripping with superlatives, glowing adjectives, etc. Those paid shills will come up with anything to praise their patrons and win their favor. They're easy to spot, and they should be ashamed of themselves.
