Plus Size Dresses to Beat the Heat {Shopping Articles Blog}
Jun 30th 2011 8:26PM Kelleigh, I was thinking the same thing. WHY are these "summer dresses" ALL sleeveless? I'm size 12-14, and I would dream of wearing anything that shows my upper arms.
'Jackass' Star Ryan Dunn Driving 'About 130 MPH' When He Crashed {PopEater}
Jun 22nd 2011 12:59PM 130 MPH? Wow, he clearly took the title of his last movie to heart and deed. Or the casting director has the gift of prophecy... 'Cause he nailed that character description!!
David Arquette Kicked Out of Prince Show For Taking Pictures {PopEater}
Jun 9th 2011 1:09PM Ronald, spell check usage might be advisable in your condition... I guess we can call that the condition of near-illiteracy?
Scotty McCreery's 'Out of Summertime' Track Leaked {PopEater}
Jun 7th 2011 7:42AM I love Scotty. A great talent, but also humble and real. Let's hope stardom doesn't twist him up (as it so often does to young talents...).
Video Games Make Kids Fat? Well, Yes and No {ParentDish}
Jun 1st 2011 3:47PM In the late 60s-70s, when I was a kid, we played kick ball, hide and seek, baseball, built "forts" and took hikes in the woods. Nothing about tv, really. Our main game was "Scrabble." We were light-weight, got great grades, had no drug or alcohol issues. (Except for drinking at school dances.) This generation is missing that feeling of "community", feeling of belonging. It's sad.
Around the world in 2000 pictures {Gadling}
Mar 23rd 2011 8:30AM Interesting editing, but the pictures in NYC were disappointing to say the least. The most interesting thing in the City are a couple of bridges and graffiti-covered benches? There are countless beautiful spots, ignored. You missed it, buddy.
Bruce Springsteen's '57 Chevy Expected to Sell for $400,000 {Spinner}
Mar 17th 2011 5:03PM Nothing mattered more to me in the story than the song... it took me back to when life was simple & sweet. No racing in the street for this girl, but Bruce was locked in with most good memories. THANKS YOU BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN!!!
Elton John's 'Tiny Dancer' Isn't About Tony Danza After All {PopEater}
Jan 20th 2011 10:28AM Yes, the lyrics were written by Bernie Taupin, and Elton put them to music. Tiny Dancer refers to Bernie's then-wife, who was a ballerina and was very petite.
What Baby Names Say About the Parents {ParentDish}
Jan 10th 2011 9:54PM My daughter's name is unusual in some ways, but it is older than the Bible! Her name is Lydia, and she is perfect for the name! (She is over 20 years old at this point...) Lydia was a single, very prosperous business woman who supported Jesus' apostles, and the first (non-Jewish) convert to Christianity in Europe.
Falling in Love Over Christmas Lights {Shelterpop}
Dec 25th 2010 3:10AM Public display of tacky colored lights?? I'm glad they are not my neighbors.
