Apr 26th 2011 9:28AM We just returned from Riviera Maya and crowds appeared to be down everywhere we went. Obviously, this news is having a negative affect. That being said, we had no issues whatsoever and because the crowds were down, it was easier to get around. And for someone to say they are not going to go to Mexico at all because of what is happening in limited areas is like saying you are not going to go to Seattle because of the rampant crime in DC or Detroit.
Apr 15th 2011 11:19AM Didn't Peugeot introduce this exact same vehicle two days ago???
Apr 15th 2011 10:17AM Simple rule of electricity, too much load = too much heat = fire!
Just like Chevy Chase plugging too many strings of lights into one outlet in Christmas Vacation, either the power is going to go out or you're going to have yourself a bigass fire.
Apr 14th 2011 6:32PM PTM - ITA. My daughter's LR2 with the contrasting moldings looks better than the monotone ones.
Apr 14th 2011 6:28PM You can buy a ONE year old 3.2 CERTIFIED with under 20K for just a little more.
Apr 14th 2011 6:25PM In humans, the rearend tends to age less gracefully than the front. In the S80's case, it's completely opposite. The rear on the S80 still looks quite tight and contemporary while the "face" looks tired and dreary and with this minor update, it's even older looking. As a Volvo owner, I would hope to see something a little more aggressive, especially with the grille. I would love to see a more Audi-esque single grille design dominated by the logo.
Apr 14th 2011 11:57AM What's the torque rating on this? If it's putting out 313HP through the diesel/electric combo, it has to be over 400 lb ft.
Apr 12th 2011 4:34PM If they auction off Bertone's Jaguar B99 concept from Geneva, I want it!
Apr 12th 2011 1:43PM Yes, it was with an auto, the new DSG, which WILL NOT be offered in the US. It was also done using the new Launch Control system, which WILL NOT be offered in the US. The entire outcome of the C&D test on this was pointless and a total joke.
"Gee, let's test two cars that will be sold in the US as is, against one that's only available in Europe."
Apr 12th 2011 12:19PM The Oaxaca region is by far Mexico's best kept secret. Beautiful bays running along the Pacific, rolling hills and mountains, coffee plantations and the friendliest people you'll find anywhere in North American. Check out the Huatulco/La Crucecita/Santa Cruz area, it's simply incredible.
