Nov 21st 2006 3:27AM It's beginning to look like "the holiday season"?
Funny... I didn't know that December 25th was known as "holiday".
Enjoy your day off... courtesy of some dude named Jesus.
CNET on Sports blogs (or Niche vs. Reach) {The Jason Calacanis Weblog}
Jan 28th 2006 3:24PM The thing that DailyKos has going for him is that he has an OUTLET. One major website used to promote another (soon-to-be-fledgling) website. Basically the same thing WIN was when it first launched Engadget. I dare that that if I were to launch a blog that was better than say... TV Squad right now, a few folks would show up, and it might grow to 5,000 uniques-per-day over the next year. However, WIN (like Gawker) can post a blog entry on all their sites "New TV Blog" and people will flock. I must admit though, I thought Deadspin [Gawker's sports blog] would be dead in the water quicker than Oddjack. But with enough juicy gossip, Gawker promotion, and a little help from Google News... they've managed to jump to an average on 40,000 uniques per-day within 5 months. Not too shabby.

Christian group hates Book of Daniel, without even seeing it {Weblogs, Inc.}
Jan 10th 2006 2:03AM A little misleading in that title. Seeing that I'm friends with the director of media relations, I understand that members of the AFA were allowed to screen the show prior to its airing.
I don't know how they do things in other parts of the US, but here in the South we have these things called "advanced screenings" . It's this super-cool thing where you can see something before everybody else. (sarcasm implied)
I have five friends on MySpace, but 1,000 on LinkedIn {The Jason Calacanis Weblog}

Some great feedback on Engadget CES coverage... {The Jason Calacanis Weblog}
Jan 9th 2006 3:06PM Ahhh, the epic battle between WIN & Gawker. To be fair, if you look at the blog entries, about 60 prct of them are indentical. However, Emgadget did what I believe most people love best... personal interaction.. I can check-out new plasma screens from 1,000's of sites... I was overjoyed to see coverage of Google and the Gates' interview.
