Jul 25th 2010 1:35PM I usually wear cotton velour pants on an over night trip since they are so comfy, and flats are a must with any cover up for warmth for sleeping. The blankets are too large, if they are still given to passengers. I also check all luggage except for a hand bag I can use as a pillow along with the one given. That way I can exit without the struggle to retrieve over head luggage. Yes, I keep a clock on the time of where I'm going and the previous night go to bed by that time, wake, eat and am ready for the air port terminal and the lengthy wait before boarding. All hints are appreciated.

I CAME BACK FROM A 2 WEEK TRIP ABROAD AND IT WAS 10 PM, AND WHEN i TRIED TO LEAVE THE PEOPLE AT THE BARRIER SAID i OWED THEM FOR PARKING SO i TRIED TO FIND A WAY OUT BESIDES THE BARRIER. THE POLICE CAUGHT ME, SAID THEY WOULD IMPOUND MY CAR AND WHY DIDN'T SOMEONE PICK ME UP? I WAS FURIOUS. THEY ONLY LET PEOPLE WHO WERE IN THE MILITARY ON 7 DEC.1941 PARK FREE! I HAD A CREDIT CARD AND WAS CHARGED $235! I WROTE THE MAYOR AND GOT A NASTY REPLY, SO NOW I PARK AT A NEAR BY HOTEL, TAKE A CAB TO THE AIR PORT, GET PICKED UP BY THE HOTEL FOR FREE, STAY OVER NIGHT, HAVE A FREE BREAKFAST THEN LEAVE FOR LESS THAN THE $235 FOR THE AIR PORT.

May 18th 2010 5:52PM I have a friend whose hands are arthritic and she can't put gas in her car and has to pay $1 per gallon to have an attendant do it for her. This is criminal. We handicapped indivuduals need help without charge. I am old enough to remember when service station help fueled your car, washed your wind shield and tire caps, checked your battery oil and did it without pay from the owner unless granted. Welfare took lots of people off these kind of work, and we need them back.

I'm moving to another country when the real estate market recovers so I can sell my home. Too bad. I'm the widow of a career Naval Officer and a patriot, but no more.
