Galley Gossip: Ask a flight attendant - Positano, Italy {Gadling}

Aug 19th 2008 3:00PM Well, that says it all....SLAM CLICK....That was the name of our boat. Your comment doesn't surprise me in the least. And how well did you treat your F/A'S?

Galley Gossip: Ask a flight attendant - Positano, Italy {Gadling}

Aug 19th 2008 2:55PM Once an F/A for any length of time, you remember great things about certain destinations. It carries over into the rest of your life too. I flew for 20 years and in 3 short months I'll be starting to collect my benefits again. And I'm hitting the skies again. Can't wait to get back to some of my favorite places. Oh yes things have changed I'm sure, but that's part of the fun of it. I remember flying to STT or LGA for the day to go shopping on my days off. My daughter when she was little saw so much of the USA before she was ten years old. That she could converse with people on where to go in certain cities. Plus I also would get back to certain folks on the plane and give them a good head start on where to go and what to see.

Galley Gossip: Ma'am, is that a frying pan in your bag? {Gadling}

Aug 8th 2008 1:47PM Frying pan not unusual about that. I've carried many a crazy sounding item when I flew. Yes, I have carried a sewing machine myself. It actually fit inside of my suitcase. Yes to the coffee pot routine also.

So what I saw coming on flights from JFK to SJU really didn't surprise me either. Like Billy goats dressed as babies.
