Marvin Sapp's Wife, MaLinda, Dies of Colon Cancer {BV Black Spin}

Sep 11th 2010 11:51AM Prayers are going forth for Pastor Sapp, his children, and all who are directly and indirectly affected by the loss (but not lost) of this beautiful wife, mother, daughter, friend... May the power of God strengthen you, the peace of God comfort you, and the promises of God sustain you!

John Mayer Not a Racist, Just a Guy Who Says Stupid Things {PopEater}

Feb 12th 2010 6:31PM Anyone who defends this guy is a fool! How stupid do you have to be to say the things that he said? You have to be Mayer stupid! Also, I sincerely doubt that he is any good in bed. For, when someone is really good, they don't talk about it. They just do it and others talk about it. He needs to grow up and stop talking about his genitalia as if he is still a 12 year old boy. He is gross!

Naomi Judd Pens Letter of Praise for Taylor Swift {The Boot}

Feb 9th 2010 6:15AM Taylor seems to be a very nice young lady, good role model for our youth...but let's be honest. She is not a good singer. Her promoter, marketers...are excellent at their jobs. They have taken the "all American girl" and sold her to a longing public. Good sales job. Not so good product.

What to Watch Out For in Public Bathrooms {ParentDish}

May 18th 2009 1:41PM You nasty germy people are the very reason that I will continue to use my foot to flush the toilet, use a paper towel to turn on/off the facet and open the door. You people are gross!

Sarah Palin Launches into President Obama's Missile Defense Cuts {Politics Daily}

Apr 7th 2009 5:44PM Dear Mrs. Palin,
Your husbands political desire to have Alaska secede from the U.S.A. failed; as did your attempt to become V.P. Therefore, Alaska is not a souvereign state. It is a part of the U.S.A.; and as such, is under the laws of this "souvereign" country. Thank God you are not in charge of setting the laws for this country, or our 17 year old daughters would be able to comfortably live with their boyfriends in our homes. How tacky! And you of all people having the nerve to comment on any aspect of President Obama's or anybody else foreign policy. LOLOLOL - what a joke.

Offensive New York Post 'Shoot The Monkey' Cartoon {Blackvoices Main}

Feb 19th 2009 4:32PM Three Points: 1) There are few people in America over the age of 12 who have not been exposed to the blatantly racist concept of people of African descent being compared to monkeys/apes/chimps... It has always been intended to be and viewed as an insult, a racist statement...Usually quite intentionally; but subtle enough to be denied by those who seek to be insulting without being insulted by being labeled as a racist. 2) Though congress "writes the stimulus packet and the president just signs it", we all know that the stimulus packet is associated with the President. So if you 'shoot down the packet/the one who submits the packet, it is a subtle/not so subtle suggestion of shooting the one to whom the packet is typically connected (i.e. President Obama). 3) Therefore, when you combine the "monkey history" with the one who people associate with the stimulus packet, what do you get? YOU KNOW! Is the cartoon racist? Absolutely! Will people deny it? Absolutely. Which people will deny it? The ones who have been raised to feel that it's ok to equate people of African descent with monkeys or who would just rather not talk about it; and a few of those "equated monkeys" who think that they will be treated as 'equals' if they agree with those who subtly insult them. Racism is alive and 'sick' in America and will continue to thrive as long as we embrace it, deny it, sweep it under that rug, look over it, or in any manner fail to deal with it.

Isiah Thomas' Son Arrested {Fanhouse NBA Blog}

Jan 27th 2008 6:13AM Would we have heard anything about this incident if this youngman did not have a famous father? I think not! Though I am not an advocate of underaged drinking, I am also not an advocate of media exploitation. This is a non-story blown up to sell papers, tv and internet time. And for the people attacking Isiah through his son, shame on you! How many times have your kids "misbehaved" and it just didn't get reported because you're "nobody"? Be careful that you don't spend so much time condemning other parents that you miss out on properly raising your own kids.

Most Humiliating News Bloopers: No. 15 {AOL Video Blog}

Jan 16th 2008 7:15PM How sad that we live in a world where tacky, filthy, uncontrolled language is ignored, acceptable and even applauded. Diane Keaton has always been tacky. This just proves that she has gotten older but no wiser!

Funeral Not a Good Enough Excuse for Vikings {Fanhouse NFL Blog}

Nov 9th 2007 8:29PM One person in the blog commented that they received 3 days funeral leave and then after that would be fired if they did not return. Shows you the caring nature (or lack there of) of the people that you work with and for. It is common to get 3 days bereavement; but then after that, you can take personal time off. Most decent employers understand and accept that. This young man obviously cared more for his family than a pay check. Thank God there are still a few people in America who know the value of a loving family. Good for him. Shame on the Vikings.
