Can Washington break the deflationary spiral? {Daily Finance}

Nov 25th 2009 5:23PM They certainly can't fix the problem they created. They have taxed, tariffed, restricted, regulated, free traded all the jobs out of the country. They can't bring them back, so they continue to tax everyone in the hopes that within 5 years everyone but those working on Wall street and for the government in all of the handout programs will be out of work. This is our Federal Bureaucracy at work. So continue to read about task forces, study groups, think tanks and all the other things that get government money but do nothing to provide jobs for us!!! Time for the Obama led coup to be retaken, we MUST kick out each and every do nothing incumbent, who simply sits on his ass in Washington, doesn't spend any time in their state or district, doesn't listen to anyone but the party leadership and deep pocketed lobbyists while we foot the bill. We need about 8-12 years of Independent leaders in all areas of Federal government. Return power to the states and maintain our Federal Government for National Defense only.

Mortgage delinquencies skyrocket, Obama's programs not helping much {Daily Finance}

Nov 21st 2009 8:58AM The only ones helped were the banks and the investment community. How does someone who has lost his job pay his bills with $275 a week of unemployment. It's about jobs, jobs that pay a living, jobs that allow the consumer to spend, shop, save, go on vacation, pay the newspaper bill, go on line, and do all the things that make the economy work. The only thing this government has done, is to give back to those who lost it all because of bad management, greed and corporate investors. Time for us to take back our government and elect an independent with common sense and a little business saavy. We should not reelect any incumbent in office today, through all the "fat cats" out and get people who will represent you, not the National Party and deep pocketed Lobbyists who are ruining the country. We have the chance to make a difference, so everyone get off your "asses" and make a difference before you become another forgotten, former, Middle Class American. WE ARE THE CLASS THAT IS DRIVING THE BUS, HOWEVER, OUR FEDERAL GOVERNMENT WON'T GIVE US THE GAS MONEY WE NEED!!!!!

Mortgage delinquencies skyrocket, Obama's programs not helping much {Daily Finance}

Nov 20th 2009 4:52PM What effect do these programs have when people are losing jobs or having the hours and pay cut. What don't these idiots in Washington understand. I went from a position (Director of Golf) making $120K per year, to now collecting $275 per week on unemployment. Golf like any business is cutting back. Younger cheaper people are getting jobs they are not qualified for. But does our Government led by the "give it all away to those bankers who lost it all and caused the entire mess" and forget the guy who pays his mortgage (because he HAD a JOB) he has forgotten the people who shop for GROCERIES (because they HAD a JOB), forget the parents who buy clothes for their kids (because the HAD a JOB), the simpliest solution is the one using common sense, get the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT out of running our lives, they have lost control of a bureaucracy that is so big it doesn't know what foot the shoe is on. People need jobs that pay money, we can't all work construction on roadway projects, even though I see 10-12 just sitting on their ass doing nothing and getting paid. I know the majority of them work very hard, but it just bothers me to see people doing nothing, and here in South Florida, just travel from Jupiter to Miami and you will see more people standing doing nothing than you would in an unemployment line. That is the fiscal management of our Federal government. WE have the chance to change all this by tossing out every incumbent in office in the next four years. Elect Independents who aren't tied to National Parties or Lobbyists and really want to represent those who elect them, and elect believers in State rights and lets shrink our "Fat Cat" Federal Bureaucracy by 75%, and lets see how well this group of political hangers on handle trying to find a job.

TARP saved the banking system, but failed at everything else {Daily Finance}

Nov 20th 2009 2:20PM What the headline should read is the Obama led Federal government rescued the mismanaged and loanshark dealings of a banking system that the average American does not have access too. But our taxes saved them, and today you read about raises in bonuses being paid to the thieves that are robbing us and the general public blind. While the banks have done a bad job, the blame goes on our Federal government. Republicans and Democrats alike who don't represent constituents anymore, they represent what the National party and the lobbyists tell them. The only way to stop this is to clean the house and senate of each and every one of them. We should elect nobody but Independents in the next few years until both parties clean their own houses. We will be better represented by people who want to return more power to the states and have the Federal government less involved in our daily lives. They have shown over the last 50 years that they can't do the job. But people keep electing the same only "BULLSH---RS each election, people like Robert Byrd who doesn't even know what day it is. Unless you want a country of ultrawealthy and indigent poor, now is the time to speak out. This is the only way to get our message heard, like the Gary Cooper story of John Doe, we need 40,000,000 John Does going to the polls and making sure no incumbent is reelected.

Chad Ochocinco Fined at 20,000:1 Ratio {Fanhouse NFL Blog}

Nov 14th 2009 7:02AM Get a life, this is a game,what is wrong with you, if you really think the $1 bribe sends the wrong message maybe you should run for office and join all the elected non-representative in Washington. The NFL is entertainment, you said it yourself, without this type of entertainment people won't come. But if you keep fining these players, the money should be used to purchase tickets in the cities that are having a problem filling the stands.

Familiar Sinking Feeling Strikes Irish {Fanhouse NCAA Football Blog}

Nov 8th 2009 7:41AM While Charlie Weis should definetly go, the defensive coordinator should probably go first, their secondary is the worst tackling bunch I have ever seen and against a basically one dimensional team the never stacked the line, they stayed in that stupid four-three with their linebackers eight yards off the line, I guess they were afraid to get beat with Navy's passing game, which by the way beat them also! Regroup ND, both got to go, and they have to go now, hire someone who at least looks like a coach.

Nov 6th 2009 7:48AM While I certainly don't care for the change, I guess with all the people out of work, and angry with our ever growing Federal government, there isn't much to smile about. I have been going to Disneyworld everyyear for the last 17 years and will have to miss this year with my 2 grandchildren as my position was eliminated and you can't go anywhere on unemployment.

Nov 4th 2009 4:31PM Jim:
Buy with what, yes it sends a big message, and that message is get us some jobs!!!! How the hell can we invest with no jobs!!!! Get the picture, get the Federal Government out of our lives, elect people with common sense and elect people regardless of their religious views, as you remember there is supposed to be a separtion of Church and State. Elect first timers, kickout every incumbent in the country. Make rules that Washington is only open for 4-5 months, the rest of the time our representatives will be in their districts and states listening to the voters, not being wined and dined by lobbyists. A very simple plan, and this alone should shrink our Federal Government by 60%, what a savings that would be, it would even save Social Security.

CIT files bankruptcy, $2.3 billion in taxpayer funds likely lost {Daily Finance}

Nov 2nd 2009 8:14AM All comments are correct, we need to bounce everyone out of Washington and start over. If we don't, the coup d'tat that we are witnessing will be complete. The bankruptcy court should just let this behemoth go. Sell each part separatly and give the money back to the people. They should not be afforded protection when they could have protected themselves. Unlike the poor sap who loses his job and can't pay the bills, these corporate giants had the ability to stop these losses, but, greed won out, and our Government wants to save them so they can save themselves. We the people have a great opportunity to do something about it, we must boot out every incumbent, and find people who believe in state power and reduced federal interference, we are the only ones who can and must do this, if we don't, there will be only two classes left, corporate class and no class. It is up to us to fix the problem, government intervention just makes it worse.

Economy grows at 3.5 percent pace; signals end of recession {Daily Finance}

Oct 29th 2009 9:25AM Growth=Government spending our tax dollars, where the hell is my job? What crap. I hope to god that people come out of the closet and start to vote. Each and every one of our "Rock Star" politicians, who don't represent those that elected them must now be turned out to pasture. While we can talk, we are becoming more like China everyday. Those in Washington think that we won't do anything to make the changes necessary. If you like what is happening then stay in your shell, if your not, we better speak out. The coup d'etat that Obama is leading is bloodless and will be complete if we don't speak out and vote out both the Democrats and Republicans who are locked in their Ivory Towers.
