Just How Dumb Does Roger Goodell Think We Really Are? {Fanhouse NFL Blog}

Feb 5th 2011 8:10PM Screw 'em all. I'll watch college on Saturday and NASCAR on Sunday.
Shoot it is just entertainment if if is not good golf weather.

Video: Dario Franchitti drives Jim Clark's legendary '65 Lotus at Indy {Autoblog}

Dec 1st 2010 11:28AM It is heartening to see someone who was not yet born display such reverence for Jimmy and the iconic Lotus 38. 1965 was such a historic year for the 500, and I think it was the last time that a winning car was not done up in a sponsorship paint scheme. Clark was my boyhood hero this piece was perfectly presented.
I was 12 years old when my Dad took me to Loew's State theater in on Memorial Day 1965
to watch the Indy 500 on a closed circuit broadcast. It was actually quite a boring race to watch as Clark simply ran away and hid from the field and led all but about 10 or 12 laps.
Chapman was even cagey enough to hire the famed Wood Brothers to do the pit work which also forever changed Champ car pit strategy.
Thanks to Ford, R&T, IMS, and especially Dario.
PS-Loved the retro firesuit with the correct patches.

Who Should Play Lisbeth Salander in 'The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo'? {Moviefone Blog}

Aug 8th 2010 11:22AM You need to read the books. Lisbeth has eyes that appear blsck, not blue.
Her cutting stares are part of her character.

NFL Close to Stiff-Arming Jim Brown, Others Out of Record Books {Fanhouse NFL Blog}

Jun 25th 2010 9:49AM Those who know, or were lucky enough to see him play, know that Brown had and to this day, has no equal. He averaged 100+ yards per game. Last time I checked they had not fooled with the length of the games. He averaged over 5yds per carry. Last time I checked the field was still 100yards long. "Nuff said."

Boy, 14, Allegedly Tattooed Against His Will By Bullies {ParentDish}

May 25th 2010 4:27PM All four of those boys will not always be together in a bunch. As the victim's Dad I would be personally seeking out each one of the punk perps and personally give him a beating. Once it happened to one of them they would have to walk around forever waiting for their turn. Revenge is a dish best served cold. It may take a while but I promise you each one would get what's coming to him.

Tiger Trying To Rewrite Rulebook With Conditional, Contrived Apology {Fanhouse Golf Blog}

Feb 18th 2010 2:26PM He is just a golfer, admittedly one of the best of all time. But he is just not a good father/husband. So... who cares. I know lots of guys like him are are not nearly as good at golf and if you are not a personal friend, who cares.
People still line up for Pete Rose's autograph, he still had the hits and the records.
I will still watch him play golf and for the sake of all his peers they best hope he returns soon.
Check out Rory McIlroy's quote about Tiger, the kid is an idiot.

Red Alert in Nation as Yanks Sweep Sox {Fanhouse MLB Blog}

Aug 10th 2009 1:48PM All these same comments were heard about the Yankees when the Sox were 8-0 against them earlier in the season. Sox were hot and Yanks were cold and now it is reversed. Nothing mattters 'til Sept anyway. They will both be in the playoffs, then, who knows.

Red Sox Nation Won't Last {Fanhouse MLB Blog}

Jun 29th 2009 10:37AM RSN has a dual fan base. The legacy fans who grew up with the Sox and with gritty New England determination, hung in there. The band-wagon jumpers who became enthralled in 2004 and have stayed on ever since. They have in common the intense dislike for the Yankees, the former due to years of being bullied and the latter because it is so easy to dislike anything NY-ish. Ever ask someone from the rest of the U.S. how they liked their tourist trip to Beantown? They loved it. It is a lovable, flawed, college town with lots to see and do and is not intimidating.
Me, I am a transplanted NewEnglander who is proud to have seen only 2 players in left field from my infancy to college. Teddy Baseball and YAZ! Nuf Ced.
