Eagles' Joe Walsh Files Restraining Order After Death Threats {Spinner}

Jun 2nd 2010 10:20AM I saw the Eagles about two or three years ago at in the Washington, D.C. area. I agree with everything you said about them. They were wonderful. I would see them again, but not with the Dixie Chicks and Keith Urban. Love those Eagles.

The Myth of Testing for Giftedness {ParentDish}

May 21st 2010 9:46AM I agree with you 100%. My two sons, who are now young successful adults, both college graduates were not ever labeled gifted and talented. They were well adjusted average kids. My husband and I encouraged them and helped them reach their potential. My oldest son is a Civil Engineer who graduated from the University of Maryland and my youngest son went to one of the best music colleges in the country and is also successful, but also struggling, but that is to be expected in the Musical industry. I am proud of my boys and I am glad they were never labeled, but they are gifted in my eyes.

Ask Gadling: Kids, allergies and travel {Gadling}

May 10th 2010 9:38AM My son is also highly allergic to a peanut allergy which was found early in his life, after his first small taste of peanut butter. He was rushed to the ER. That was the worst day of my life. This allergy is not a hoax or to be taken lightly. The best advice, carry an epi-pen, the child should have an epi-pen in their back-packs, have the school nurse have an epi-pen, advise all teachers, and have your child learn to read food labels early in life and ask questions about any food that will be put in their mouths. It is not an easy life for a child to handle but, it is possible. We have experience many activities and traveled to many countries as a family. My son is now a well adjusted, hard working 28 year old man who has experienced life to the fullest; is a college graduate with a successful job, and a loving girlfriend.

The Doggie Diaries: Are Dogs and Babies a Good Mix? {Pawnation OLD}

Apr 29th 2010 7:08PM My sons, 24 and 27 years old grew up with dogs. I have always had a dog from the time I was a child. After marriage, my husband and I bought a Golden Retreiver. We then had our two sons who the dog loved more than she loved her own puppies. Dogs and children are a great combination when you know how to monitor it.

How Long Can You Go Without Washing Your Hair? {Stylelist (Main)}

Mar 14th 2010 6:20PM I shower every morning, but only wash my hair every three days since it is very fine and curly if not a bit unruly. Washing it everyday made the curls out of control.
