Wow! I'm a genius! Think about it! We can stop getting our kids maimed for two whole months and cut health care costs even more! Isn't that cool, guys? Holy smoke! think about it! If we stopped the war altogether we'd have more than enough for the best health care for every single living American! If we stopped a few programs in the military industrial complex we'd have enough for health care for centuries to come! But...you don't want that do you, middle America? You want war forever and you want to pay through the nose for your anti-depressants that you need whenever tax time rolls around and the bills for those wars come due. I hope you are proud of yourselves out there on Veteran's and Memorial Day America. Your slack attitude towards getting your kids killed is filling the cemeteries and trauma wards. Oh, who cares, as long as we have our football and SUV's, right?

Feb 17th 2010 1:04PM Actually, and you can check the "FACTS" with Snopes.com, they did NOT fly out on 9/11. That is a myth perpetuated by conspiracy theorists. No flights like that were made that day. The truth was, they were on one of the very first flights out later in the week when air traffic resumed. Still a shady action, but not nearly as shady as we had been led to believe.

Feb 17th 2010 1:01PM I would take Clinton back as leader in a heartbeat compared to ANY president we have had aside from Kennedy, Washington, FDR, or Jefferson. Who really cares about the philandering? That is mindless "National Enquirer" type gossip that is no business of yours or mine. The sheer brain power of the man is awe inspiring. I guess middle Amuhrka likes 'em dumb, rather than bright, because they sure veered that way with good ol' Gee Dubb. By a miracle the left got it together and elected another intelligent individual (Obama), but he cannot hold a candle to The Big Dog. You can have Reagan, he was a useless dolt with a winning way when it came to the mindless drones of this nation, Clinton actually WORKED and got something done IN SPITE OF all you haters. I cannot remember a time more solid and prosperous since the early 60's that can compare with the Clinton era, and all of you detractors have to admit to the truth of that statement.

Feb 6th 2010 11:23AM Actually Gee Dubb pulled the greatest con job ever, by convincing barely one half of this nation to vote for him...TWICE. If Obama ran on a record of insignificance, Bush won on a record fraught with scandal and abject failure. Every program, business and venture he put his hand to before becoming president failed miserably, (he couldn't even find OIL in TEXAS!!!)and then he took this nation down the tubes in like fashion. You'd do a lot better supporting your president who has no significant record rather than tearing every effort the man makes to better your and all our lives. I agree he has failed on a few things, we are still stuck in these quagmired useless wars, we aren't out of the woods quite yet when it comes to this economic debacle, and big business still has a stranglehold on EVERYTHING, but at least he is trying, and those are enormous issues other presidents left him to sort out, plus, at least he's not been on vacation more than one third of his time (so far). Consider yourself duly chastised.

When will they ever understand that they had the majority, they did not NEED the republican votes. The flaws are all appeasement to these toadies of the health care industry. We need a health care system like Canada or Europe, and the republicans (AND democrats) and their masters in corporate America be damned!

KFC's veggie sandwich isn't quite so meat-free {Slashfood}
Jul 25th 2008 3:30AM Just an FYI here: Recently I took a trip to China. You would be stunned at the number of KFC's and Pizza Huts over there. They are thicker than McDonald's are HERE! Pepsi made a deal that if there was a KFC franchise bought, then a Pizza Hut had to be within a block or so as well, and vice versa, so you always get the two places just a few doors from each other, no matter where you are. The amazing thing is, though, the menus at these places is vastly superior to the menus here. They offer fresh fruit, vegetables, desserts, real silverware and china, fancy decor, in fact, they are very nice, decent restaurants, not crappy fast food grease pits. Check out some of their Chinese commercials for KFC and Pizza Hut on Youtube, you will be amazed.
