Jan 23rd 2009 2:09AM I disagree with your comments. Patriotic symbols, especially American patriotic symbols, make other countries uncomfortable. The U.S. doesn't have a right to invade defenseless countries like Iraq and murder its civilians. In eight years, Bush systematically ruined the image of America the world over. At least President Obama has class. He is patriotic too but not by waving the flag and insisting America is right even when its policies are flawed.

Jul 12th 2008 7:56PM As I mentioned in a previous post, there is a big difference between Chinese and Japanese people. Americans think ALL ASIANS ARE CHINESE. I don't appreciate the nasty comments I've heard so far about Japanese tourists. It's not true. Japanese tourists were rated #1 in the world by a poll taken by European hotel owners. The French may have a reputation for being cold, but waiting on demanding American tourists is not a picnic. "Hold the butter, hold the sauce, don't put ice in my water, where's the ketchup?" A Japanese person would never behave that way - they have much better upbringing and more class.

Jul 12th 2008 5:31PM To Trevor and all you other Americans who can't tell the difference between Chinese and Japanese tourists. The Japanese are polite, tidy and quiet people. The Chinese are loud, obnoxious and cheap to boot. There is a HUGE difference. The Japanese were rated the #1 tourists in the world by European hotel owners. I bet the Europeans can tell the difference....the Japanese have more class.
