Who Wore It Best? Jennifer Lopez and Drew Barrymore in Pucci (PHOTOS, POLL) {Stylelist (Main)}
Aug 9th 2011 2:26PM Class act? Repeated alcohol and drug abuse/rehab, regular at Studio 54, frequent nudity (for payment), former vegetarian who gave up that ideal, master of short-term relationships, sexually uninhibited.....she probably makes a fun date, but "class act?" Really? What does that make someone like Kate Middleton?
Taylor Swift Forced to Cancel Shows Due To Illness {PopEater}
Jul 7th 2011 10:12AM Can't sing? Hmmm - multiple industry awards, thousands of fans, millions of dollars earned, international fame.....At what point do you haters look at the empirical evidence and realize that you're the fools who don't know jack about music?
Parents of Girl Killed in Ferris Wheel Accident Want Tougher Safety Regulations {ParentDish}
Jun 14th 2011 4:08PM Did it ever occur to those who want to child-proof the world that an 11-year-old can undo or simply wiggle out of a seat belt if they want to?
Pippa Middleton Splits From Beau, Alex Loudon {PopEater}
Jun 13th 2011 12:33PM I prefer Scandinavian blondes, but would never call an olive-skinned beauty "homely" because of that. These twits calling either Middleton woman unattractive are revealing much more about their own insecurities than they ever realize.
Emma Watson: 'Why Doesn't Anyone Ever Pursue Me?' {PopEater}
Jun 7th 2011 6:32PM Long or short hair, attractive or not - all depends on the viewers preference -- I sure find her appealing. If Hillary Clinton or Sarah Palin weren't too intimidating to get a mate, I doubt little Emma is. There could be a hundred little signals or vibes she's sending out that put guys off. Some girls just don't know how to be receptive in a sincere, relaxed way.
Parents Upset After School Yearbook Lists George W. Bush, Dick Cheney as Worst People of All Time {ParentDish}
Jun 2nd 2011 4:15PM To Jim & Shawn and whoever else says the "kids" could only have gotten this nonsense from leftist adults: as a 64-year-old, my whole generation was raised and taught by conservative, 1950s types. Yet we started the whole liberal, hippie, don't-trust-anyone-over-30 culture (for better or worse). I sure hope that these students aren't so hopeless that they can't think without adult supervision.
Justin Timberlake: 'I Haven't Spoken to Britney Spears in a Decade' {PopEater}
Jun 1st 2011 5:32PM Whether you love or hate Timberlake, what he says makes perfect sense. I had a couple of girl friends in H.S., more in college and still others in the Navy. I finally married the right girl 37 years ago and haven't spoken to any Xs since. The prior relationships were real and warm, but basically a search for that right match. Isn't that what "finding true love" is all about?
'Genderless' Baby Raises a Storm of Controversy {ParentDish}
May 26th 2011 5:20PM Matthew, probably most of us on this board probably "don't care" to the extent you're implying. But then, not everybody shoulders the world's problems 24/7. I can't stop the war, and I feel terrible about the people in Joplin but can't help. However, I did volunteer at my local hospital today, where I helped a cardiac patient and his son who was home on emergency leave from Iraq to visit his Dad. But this afternoon I was web surfing and interested in a couple trying to map out an alternative parenting style. So sue me.
'Genderless' Baby Raises a Storm of Controversy {ParentDish}
May 26th 2011 5:00PM Only problem with trying to live in a world as you wish it to be, instead of the world that exists, is that your idealized world comes into direct contact with the real world on a regular basis. That's a problem. Unless maybe you live in New Orleans. (Now don't get on my case - NOLA's my favorite place in the country.)
Mom With Stage 4 Breast Cancer Denied Custody of Kids in Bitter Battle {ParentDish}
May 11th 2011 3:48PM A lot of people here ranting about what a dumb man the judge must be. I'd swear that the article said the judge's name was Nancy, which is typically a female name if I'm not mistaken.
