Feb 27th 2011 8:53PM My wife and I travel as much as possible but with the current unrest in Mexico we won't be going back anytime soon. I applaude the cruise lines for taking a stand. Lost $ is the only thing mexico will understand. If the US would legalize pot it would help to dry up some of the revenue that the Mexican cartels get from the US - I know - some of you think that's crazy but look at prohibition - who got rich and who got shot? Without prohibition we would have had Capone or Moran or the St Valentines day shootings and after booze was legalized again I ask you, what happened? Things got quiet. Are you afraid to eat Italian in Chicago today? Of course not - but you would have been when Capone and Moran were around. Change is good - gang killings are not.

Feb 27th 2011 9:55AM You obviously don't fly! These things have killed a lot of pilots, including military. When you hit one of these stupid birds a 40lbs apiece they go right through the glass and usually just smash the pilots head like an egg - oh and if you're riding in that plane, you have a problem.
Not to mention the fact that in flocks they are VERY agressive and inflict pretty painful damage to humans - beautiful, only when in flight somewhere else!

Hey, most of us who fly came from the military and we're a bunch of hard hitting, hard flying, hard partying, seat of the pants, kick ass, flyers who like to have a good time and fly below the tree line whenever possible - if you don't like it, don't fly!
