Jul 10th 2008 2:26AM When flying East several time zones I go to bed earlier and earlier the week before my flight. I try to sleep on the plane in accordance with the new time zone. I don't drink caffeine, keep up with the water and stay up until bed time once I reach my destination, even if I haven't slept on the plane. I tried Ambien once for a 13 hour difference international trip and felt hung over for a week.
