How To Fly If You're A 'Customer Of Size' {Gadling}
Nov 14th 2012 12:23PM The ones that complain about large size people taking too much room in the seat are the same people who try to cram a suitcase in the overhead bin. Perhaps all should be treated the same. If your luggage does not fit in the container at the gate then be require to check it. I worked for the airlines and half of the flying public are the biggest slobs around.
Southwest Boots Thin Flier for Overweight Teen {AOL Travel News}
Jul 26th 2010 10:22PM Though she was flying "stand-by" does not mean she did not have a paid ticket. I have had a paid ticket where I was stand-by for a earlier flight. If he was an unaccompained minor Southwest was aware that he would be flyng and where connecting from. If he needed two seats because of his size he should have paid for two seats, if not she would not have been misplaced. Once again your "discount" airline screwed up again.
Irate first class passenger pulls emergency slide, leaves plane {Gadling}
Jul 7th 2008 8:32PM John Casey give me a break. The majority of first class passangers are there on miles that their company paid for. No money ever came out of their pocket. If not paid for by company they earned the miles by having them credited from a credit card that offers miles for every dollar spent. Shame on the flight attendents for serving him enough to get drunk. They should have cut him off.
Irate first class passenger pulls emergency slide, leaves plane {Gadling}
Jul 7th 2008 8:30PM Usually the flight attendent disengages the slide when the plane is at the gate and the slide cannot be activated. To activate the slide you have to have it engaged and hooked at the bottom.
