Jul 7th 2008 5:37PM I fly from the east coast to Europe a few times a year and the jetlag gets worse each time, no matter what I do. It takes me hours just to fall asleep and I'm jolted back awake within 20 minutes.
Rather than suffer the indignities of trying to sleep upright in cattle class, I make the most of the bar service, bring on a gourmet sandwich from my local market, and listen to some good music - or a few movies on my ipod. You can't ever count on the airline keeping you entertained.

Jul 7th 2008 5:24PM While I like the idea generally, TSA screeners are often the last to find out that their agency has changed the rules, and you'll likely have to take the laptop out of the scanner-friendly bag, thus defeating the purpose. It'd be nice if TSA hired people who were friendly and intelligent; 99% of those I've encountered were neither.
