First Look: USB-powered Mimo 710-S display (which you could win) {TUAW.com}

Aug 26th 2009 4:07PM I like the idea of using this in the kitchen. Excellent. I want one!

Mac 201: Preparing your Mac for Snow Leopard {TUAW.com}

Aug 17th 2009 5:30PM Wow. It looks like this article (or tuaw.com itself) would be better re-invented as a wiki rather than an "update" blog-ish thing. Well, what ever, eh.
The system profiler tip seems actually worthwhile.

Shouldn't (or probably isn't) there a cheezie little app out there that, when doubble-clicked lists all of your PPC apps and advises you as of which version it is Universal/Intel and offer to download it (etc, etc)?

Two good apps I use that does lot of that are from:
http://metaquark.de/appfresh/
http://konstochvanligasaker.se/apptrap/

Further "not-really uninstaller" apps can be found at:

Rumors abound, Apple working on media server? {TUAW.com}

Dec 30th 2008 1:25AM I'd truly buy that right away!!! I need this machine!
As Aaron @16 says, this does make "way too much sense" so it'll never happen. Man, I do so want one though!

'MacGuard' double-plus ungood, avoid {TUAW.com}

Oct 17th 2008 7:22PM Nice ;-)

The Lego Apple Store {TUAW.com}

Oct 17th 2008 6:09PM And how should this matter? If this post isn't for you, why should it matter. Just move on. Think of all those other million people who do things that they get paid for and which you don't care about. Just because they aren't bloggers (or mattress testers ;-) you don't feel the need to complain. Right?

Also, they aren't really wasting an NGO's money - which could be used to do good. Their daddy is AOL. Who cares?

Anyhow, TGIF and take care :-)

The little Leopard laptop {TUAW.com}

Oct 9th 2008 3:49PM Wow, excellent article!!
This is more like Ars than TUAW. Way to go :-)

Here is an excellent comparison of nebooks:

Now if TUAW could just add the Apple spin to this...

Fear the Bloomberg Bozo {TUAW.com}

Sep 25th 2008 5:09PM Glad to see that Eastereggs do live on :-)
Glad also to see what the Bloomberg dev-team new to be true :-)

Pictures of OS X 'mod-chip' EFi-X in the wild {TUAW.com}

Sep 12th 2008 2:08PM http://m2-services.net/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=106&Itemid=127&lang=en

It seems quite expensive at 100 Euro plus 20 for shipping. That'd be $170 US. At least at this one store in Switzerland. Too much, just for a tinker thing.

Splash that iTunes visualizer across multiple monitors {TUAW.com}

Sep 11th 2008 5:10PM Uuuh, but no, that would be so work-like. A feature things like PowerPoint have ;) But seriously, I have been looking for that feature as well. At least it wasn't me. I thought this would be way to obvious and spent too much time trying to find the simple iTunes feature to accomplish this. But yea, this is a feature we need.

Dice games to go with all the iPhone dice apps {TUAW.com}

Sep 5th 2008 5:30PM When I read your suggestion to "he time-honored Pig" (see suggestions above) I thought I'd need to point out this super-silly game here:

http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schweinerei_(Spiel)

http://www.amazon.de/Winning-Moves-5001-8-Schweinerei/dp/B0000A575W

Nothing to do with Macs, iPhones or really even dice but, hey, that's how it goes ;-)
