For you to say that the man saved his own life is a bit of a stretch, however. The intruder was busy choking the dog. The homeowner could just as easily have retreated and called 911.
Please don't write back with a simple "the police might not have arrived..." the homeowner still had his weapon.

Dec 5th 2012 7:30AM Someone around here needs to get real. The razing of perfectly good buildings happens every day. The only newsworthy piece about this is that the developer did some good besides creating a few manhours of work by having the firefighters train.

Jan 6th 2012 7:03AM I agree, Lena, the problem is the banks. In hard times recently past banks let this type of property go for a small amount of money rather than let them sit and just be worth a small amount of money. They seem to display no patriotism or foresight at all.
