Aug 27th 2008 4:27PM I have not flown on United since the 80's. I am a Skywards Gold member of Emirates Airline and have never had a single issue with them. I refuse to even consider another carrier if Emirates has a flight to my destination.

Aug 27th 2008 4:11PM Emily, I got the same message. I have never been a Dell fan anyway. While in Afghanistan, Dell refused to ship a computer to me then wanted to charge state tax if they shipped it to my home address. I went to the PX and purchased a Toshiba Satellite X205. This was the first time I have been to the Dell site since. To me this is just another reason not to give Dell my business.

Jun 21st 2008 8:18PM Depends upon where in the World you fly to and how often you fly that Airline. Many years back I flew in the jump seat of a DC-8 from Alaska to Japan.
Another hint to upgrades and perks is to wear a polo shirt with the logo of the Airline you are flying. This has worked well for me.
