Jul 12th 2011 2:38PM I own a small business and I was not polled. Anti-business action by the little-o administration is worsening our economic problem. You cannot tax your way to prosperity. Why would I create more jobs knowing that I will be punished by higher taxes, contribution into a socialized heath care program and villified by a pot calling the kettle black. Grandpa said he became wealthy because he was lucky. He added, "The harder I worked, the wealthier I became." Contrary to progressive belief, obama is not smart and has the intellect of a dirt clod. His ideas and actions are hell-bent on destruction of our way of life. Our problems are orchestrated and fertilized by the organic decomposition that spews from his mouth. If he were removed from office our economy would begin to rebound immediately. Look above the puppet and see his puppeteers.

Apr 29th 2011 10:43AM This has never been about race and I say this as a hardworking, patriotic, caucasian. I'm a mixture of American Indian, Irish, English and Italian. (is that a Heinz 57 or what?)Our country has worked its way from ignorance on many issues to implementing change and acceptance for all people. The president was elected by a majority of ALL Americans. The black and minority vote could not have made it so by themselves. It is ignorance speaking that blames his current unpopularity on his skin color. It is his un American policies and deficit spending that have him between a rock and a hard place. When your family is suffering and money is tight do you borrow money and spend it without a plan to pay it back? If you're smart you won't. We all know the answer. You will do away with needless expenses and tighten your belt and the whole family will pull together toward success. Many of you might say that we should increase taxes on the wealthy. That's been tried and all that happens is you drive business out of the country to a more hospitable environment. It's high time we all pull together and stop looking to the government to solve our problems. We wouldn't be in this situation if it weren't for bad decisions made by our government. Those decision have been made by prior administrations and are being made by our current leader. You can legislate opportunity but you cannot guarantee or legislate success. In our free society it's up to each individual to use the educational system, their God given intellect and ambition to reach for the top. Legislation of equal outcome is called Socialism and we'll work for the government when that happens. How did that plan work out for the Soviets? To vote against someone because of their skin color is racism. To vote for someone because of their skin color is racism. Best person for the job regardless.

"Judge a man not by the color of his skin but by the content of his character" Sound familiar? Let's try practicing what we preach. Rules are for everyone. No more racism! Let's not use color to explain our failures or shortcomings. Let's not use color to develop a "victim mentality" Let's not use color to demand something for nothing or settle into an entitlement mentality. Let's unite as Americans and use our freedoms to rebuild our great country. Enough already.

Big Daddy Gubment can't shore up our risks by taxing the hell out of existing businesses and "spreading the wealth." Maybe risk is not your game. There will always be risk takers and there will be employees and laborers. Risk takers win and lose, but they are the ones that create and provide jobs to the employees and laborers. If WE want the economy to start booming again, the Feds need to get out of the way and stop meddling in things that they obviously don't understand. Vote them all out starting in November. Obama's actions are no more than subsidizing lazy and unmotivated people. More socialist crap from the "Thief in Chief."
