Connecticut Family Ends Up in ER After Eating Poisonous Mushrooms Growing in Backyard {AOL Real Estate}

Oct 18th 2012 8:55AM This shows the difference between those raised in this country and those who were raised overseas. In other lands, it's completely safe to harvest mushrooms and cook them. Here, there are types that are very toxic. Any of us who went through scouting were taught as kids to avoid mushrooms like that. Granted, I avoid all mushrooms, no matter where they come from.

Bank Threatens to Foreclose on Stage 4 Breast Cancer Patient {AOL Real Estate}

Jul 11th 2012 1:36PM It's easy to say that the banks are the bad guy. In this case, I think it's true. But what about ordinary people? What can we do to help? I read that over $680,000 was raised for the bullied bus driver in upstate NY. Why can't somebody start such a site to help save this couple's home. Maybe there needs to be a simple way to help those going through medical emergencies maintain their homes.

Airline Booking Agent Tells All In Online Q&A {Gadling}

Jun 19th 2012 3:20PM It is horrible to advise people to fake disabilities in order to get a bulkhead seat. Please never do this. It makes it harder for people who legitimately have disabilities and may cause those who really need those seats to not get them. People with service and guide dogs need bulkhead seats to accommodate the dog. If you don't have a disability, have some courtesy for those who do.

Also, if you fake having a loved one with a medical emergency or a death in the family, you are abusing the privilege. Airlines will likely become even more stringent with their rules or do away with it altogether if people are lying.

Even though the article says these things are unethical, they shouldn't have ever been brought up. Might I always suggest fixing the spelling issues as well.

House of the Day: $14.9 Million Buys You a Home Built for Jesus {AOL Real Estate}

May 15th 2012 11:30AM Am I the only one who sees a bit of irony here? We have a mansion like that being built for a man who fully embraced the poor, the disabled, the sick, the children, and the week. The idea of making something so opulent just seems counter to the message that Jesus taught. That seems to be something that many religious institutions miss. His life was one that showed an utter simplicity in lifestyle, so this just seems funny.

Tourists behaving badly: Lost in translation in South Korea (video) {Gadling}

Aug 29th 2011 3:27PM So, let me get this straight. This ignoramus puts his hands on a woman on the bus and knocks her from her seat, but nobody steps in to help until the end of the video when he got in the older man's face. That was shocking to me that nobody helped, and people even laughed at the beginning. It's a wonder he wasn't detained as well. Even in America, you can't pull a woman from her seat without being charged with assault, and you don't get in an older person's face like that. He should be rotting in some jail in South Korea before being deported and having his passport revoked.

Vinny Guadagnino Leaves 'Jersey Shore' for Good {PopEater}

Jul 5th 2011 9:02AM That's a total insult to anybody who happens to ride a short bus and/or carry a Scooby Doo lunchbox. :) :)

Cory Monteith Talks To Guys About Guys Who Like Guys (Video) {PopEater}

Jul 1st 2011 1:40PM Actually, what is sick is the fact that there are still people in this day and age who believe that people shouldn't be treated equality and with dignity. Telling people to move past hate and discrimination is a message that seems to elude people who are openly prejudiced and hide behind their religion to continue to be that way.

Lindsay Lohan's First Night Out Results in Paparazzi Frenzy {PopEater}

Jun 30th 2011 1:21PM I tend to be very critical of Lindsay, but who on earth could manage to not stumble walking through something like that? I mean, If there were cameras flashing in my eyes and a throng of people in my way yelling, it wouldn't take much to trip or fall.

Michael Lohan: 'Forget Jail, Lindsay Needs Rehab' {PopEater}

Jun 23rd 2011 11:40AM Oh, Mr. Lohan... She's been to rehab quite a few times, and it's not done a thing. She's done the ankle monitoring units, bail bonds, and the house arrest. She's been given break after break when if it were the rest of us, we'd be rotting in a cell. Give us a freakin' break! The woman broke the law time and again, and she needs to reap the consequences. Send her to jail, and don't budge because her lawyer threatens to appeal. It's cut and dry, and it's time she pays the piper. Lock her up, and stop giving her the media attention.

Britney Spears Kicks Off Femme Fatale Tour (Photos) {PopEater}

Jun 17th 2011 2:20PM I don't think the woman is fat. I mean, she had two kids, and not everybody bounces back from that 100%. It's more of a problem with her costume designers who pick out clothes that are several sizes too small. Even a health person would appear to have a muffin top in she was forced to squeeze into a size 2 with a size 6 body. When she wears clothes that flatter her, she looks great. Her singing and dancing, however...? That's another story. To think of the people with vocal talent who can't make it...
