Mar 25th 2010 11:29AM Admittedly, I am not a parent. So all of you out there who respond that I don't have a say, don't shoot the messenger. That being said, this is perhaps the best letter I have read regarding childrens tantrums. I work at a hospital and deal with the little ones daily. The parents who get this concept make my job so much easier. Those that coddle and give in to the children make my job darn near impossible. Kuddos Janice. Very well said.
What Movie(s) Have You Walked Out Of? {Cinematical}
Mar 5th 2010 4:04PM I walked out of two movies. While serving in the military, I walked out on the movie "Airplane". I thought it was just too stupid and silly. Eventually, I saw it on television and since have grown to adore the movie. The other movie was called "The Fortune Cookie". Terrible. Just terrible.

Dirtiest Hotels in the United States {Gadling}
Jan 31st 2009 6:48AM In the late 70's, I entered the military service. I was put up in a sleezy hotel within about a block of the Greyhound Bus station in downtown Cleveland, Ohio. That place had to be the worst hotel ever. The sheets on the bed were not changed (judged by the amount of pubic hair still on the sheets), and when you laid down on the bed (on my coat so I wouldn't have to lay on filthy linen), the view was of hundreds of tiny spit balls of paper on the ceiling of the room. Roaches were everywhere, and there was a hole in the door. As disgusting as it was, through the years it has become a favorite story of mine to tell. Some things should be experienced once in a lifetime. Guess this was mine.

The reference made in the opening statement was indeed a reference to the early days of Broadway and its theatre district. It was not some type of racial slur.
