May 28th 2010 3:05PM I have been a aircraft mechanic for usairways for a long time so when I was working at newark airport in new jersey.I dont know where continental airlines gets their mechanics from and I am not trying to be mean but seems like every time they have a problem with one of the their airplanes they always come over to us and ask us how to fix the problem it seems like we should start charging them for our help. They should be up to speed at this level and not hired right out of airfame powerplant school which would only help you with general aviation matters.Their Mechanics should spend sometime working and trainning in an heavy maintaince hanger before they work on line maintaince. I also heard they they have been asking the fuelers how to transfer fuel in the airplanes. Come on Continental get your house in order.

We are remember the plane that landed safely in the Hudson River in NYC after both engines were hit by a flock of large birds and were damaged,other airline pilots would have crashed trying to return to LGA but not AIR FORCE AND NAVY CARRIER TRAINED USAIRWAYS PILOTS I know I would never fly on another carrier if I have something to say about it bacause I really like living.

Apr 30th 2010 1:34AM The only thing I care about when I fly is does the pilot know what to do when both of his engines stop running and USAirways pilots do. Remember the water landing in NYC.So when I fly, I will only fly on USAirways, because when it comes down to it. I really like living.
