Galley Gossip: Flight Attendant Pet Peeve #3: You want me to do what? {Gadling}

Jul 20th 2008 8:06AM hey pan-

"Hey, lifting bags is part of your job description, duh."

As it has been said many times, no, it's not, duh.

Galley Gossip: Flight Attendant Pet Peeve #3: You want me to do what? {Gadling}

Jul 18th 2008 5:52PM For all you idiots who tell Heather to "get another job" and "stop whining"-please please please just stop reading her blog. It obviously annoys you to no end, and life is too short.

No one is forcing you to read it, and she is offering her honest perspective, you don't like what she has to say, turn off the effing computer.

Now, go away and bother someone else. Thank you, and "Buh-bye!"

Galley Gossip: Flight Attendant Pet Peeve #3: You want me to do what? {Gadling}

Jul 18th 2008 5:39PM All those things you mentioned went away after 9/11 and record fuel prices.(hot meals in coach, etc.) If you, as passengers want all those "hard items" back, you have to convince airline management that you will PAY for them. Refer to heather's post about the cost of ticket prices and re-read it.

Galley Gossip: Flight Attendant Pet Peeve #2: Back to your seat, please! {Gadling}

Jun 21st 2008 11:09PM kieran, what you probably witnessed was the fa's eating their CREW MEALS. They were under no obligation to offer you their omlette. I have offered my crew meal as a choice to a pax, but only if I want to.

Surprise, surprise, we eat too.

Galley Gossip: Stew Shoes (the search continues...) {Gadling}

Jun 12th 2008 6:16PM Heather, and to any female fa's out there- I have some shoe ideas. I wear clark privos. They kinda look like a ballet flat, but are oh so comfy. The best part is no metal shank, so for crews that means no taking off your shoes at the checkpoint!!

Also, merrell makes a line called the emma, which is sort of a flat mary jane, which is also comfy w/ no metal shank.

Galley Gossip: The problem with "soaring" ticket prices {Gadling}

Jun 10th 2008 5:52PM Adjusting for inflation $325 in 1950 is equivalent to ~$2800 today. So.. The price hasn't really stayed the same, has it?

Uh, Mikael, maybe you should do a search on flights from JFK to CDG. There are dozens of fares less than $1000. This summer, not a year from now.

According to your numbers, the ticket price is less than it was 50 years ago, which I think is the point.
