Jan 5th 2011 4:30PM It is not even that he was gay, but what kind of diseases could he have brought home with him after fooling around. I hope she got tested for STDs.
Dec 26th 2010 1:43AM My all time favorite is Holiday Inn with Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire. This is the movie that introduced White Christmas.
I watch it every year.
Nov 18th 2010 5:41PM The reason those young children get SSI is that a parent is either disabled or died. These benefits are based on the
that parent's earnings. Social Security would have a lot more money if they raised the cap on what could be taxed. It is now about $96,000 a year. If it was raised to about $125,000 there would be more than enough money coming in to the fund. And before any yells at me about being a liberal I am not. I see how much corporations that pay poorly get in tax breaks, and other perks. As soon as the perks are over, the company picks up
and moves to another location. My home town is full of such jobs that pay about $8.00 an hour. You try to live on that and see how far it goes
Nov 9th 2010 12:46PM The only reality shows I watch are Dancing with the Stars, America has got talent and the one with the comedians a few years ago. I never watch the other
ones. Personally the one with the 17 children is abhorent to me. There are too many people in the world and here this couple like the Octomom are adding even more of a burden to our planet. If Kate
Gosselin and the other family did not get paid for this show, they could not support their families.
I get tired of hearing and seeing these people who
most of the time have no talent whatsoever. Give me a good drama or comedy or a book any day.
Feb 25th 2009 11:34AM The great depression actually was a world wide event. It is one of the reasons that Adolph Hitler was elected in Germany. The Mark was worthless and inflation so bad that it took a wheel barrow full of them to buy a loaf of bread.
Mussolini also got elected because of the great depression. Many people who had overseas investments lost everything. It probably would have lasted longer except for WWII. The war is what actually got us out of the depression.
Jul 8th 2008 5:11PM I work at the reception area of a hospital. I am the switchboard, I also recept people into the computer system for the ER. When I tell people where I work all I hear is complaints about the ER where I work. The other thing people do is ask me medical questions or tell me their entire list of complaints. They also tell me their family and friends list of medical complaints. I get no respect from anyone at my place. I am only the operator and not only do I do that I also leave people into the ER and the Main hospital at night if security is busy. I am responsible to see that the right people are notified about alarms.
I am also the person people waiting to be seen in the ER and have been waiting for a long time come to complain. I cant move it along I don't work in the ER.
People just do not understand that ambulance and chest pain patients have priority over your toothache.
I know it hurts but it is not life threatening neither is your flu symptoms or your earache.
Jun 6th 2008 12:46AM My favorite tea is Farmer's. It is a local brand which started out being made from Memorial Day to Labor Day. It was so popular that eventually it outsold the milk and other products including ice cream that Farmer's a dairy co-op sold. It seemed that every year during the seventies the season grew longer and longer with the addition of other flavors. It's very sweet and has a strong flavor and color to it. When I go to the local supermarket,it outsells Turkey Hill and Swiss Miss.
