Should airlines charge you by your weight? {Gadling}

Jun 4th 2008 1:31PM I do not think they should charge a person based on weight. It would be a public relations nightmare in a time when all these new fees popping up are already enraging people. I think they should just charge more for tickets (flat rate) as well as cut flights that are underpopulated. A great article discussing what many analysts suspect is going to happen, and is already a little bit, is called Silent Spring for Aviation. It discusses what airlines are going to be forced to do. Its very interesting. Thanks!

Spirit Airlines to cut nearly half of pilot and flight attendant workforce {Gadling}

Jun 4th 2008 10:02AM This article reminds me so much of this one I read a week or so ago at the end of may. This article called Silent Spring for Aviation discusses why the airlines are going to have to cut flights and what it means for us. It pretty much sums up what the last paragraph of this article is asking, which is what does this mean for us?

For cash-strapped airlines, inflight urinals could be a money-maker {Gadling}

Jun 3rd 2008 10:37AM The Airlines are having an extremely tough time. I read the only airline that is going to make a profit is South West because they're were the only to hedge a large enough amount of fuel at a low price. And obviously, if we're paying to use a restroom on a plane they are not doing well at all. This article called Silent Sprint for Aviation analyzes what could happen as early as next sprint for the airlines. And I would be glad to pay to use the restroom to avoid this.

Thanks
