This is common sense when you want someone in office who can take care of their own country and try to stop policing the world. We dont even have enough troops to send to another country. When have you heard of the National Guard taking on such tasks as they are.

Yes, we do care! The United States have it's tie and obligations in the wrong part of the world right now. The Bush Administration main focus is on Iraq, he went in this country without a plan and all americans are now paying the price for a war that will never end there. Our President Know about the genocide, the mass murdering of innocent people that has opposed Mugabe for retaining power, but what does he do for the people right here in the U.S.A., I'm just waiting to see how will "FEMA" handle the flooding disaster in the midwest states. Too much money, too many lives have been lost because of this war. It's time to lend a hand where it is really needed and that is in Africa. It's hard to imagine the richest continent on the face of the earth is in so much turmoil. Africa, thats where the diamonds mines are. These innocent people have never had anybody to be a voice for them and I personally think it is about time.

Jun 18th 2008 2:29PM I thought that this person had stopped his mess. Obama is the first black man who has ever made it this far. Did you know that some of the KKK is backing him, this is history. As for the monkey jokes, later for that dumb back woods bull it's people like you who dont want change or is afraid of it. I know something is wrong with you if you supported the current administration, you see where it got you. If you dont own a bike go and get one because gas prices are out rageous and so is food prices. So why can't you find something positive to say instead of picking on Obama. I'd rather have a young black man in office than an old dried up prune.

May 31st 2008 8:16AM This comment is for the "Skipper" there are so many people out here who are treated unjust, and this situation taking place in a rural town doesn't make it any better. People down south are still calling the white man sir and no mam. This is an incident that was started by whites, and when the black kids wanted to do something ( which wasn't right )about it they were punished harshly and put in jail. Just tell me that you can't see a problem here. If it was someone in your family you wouldn't feel that way. And as far as Al Sharpton goes he a least try to bring justice to the unjust. What are you doing?

My son was at home last year on June 5th in the basement with some of his so called friends just playing a game of dice, one of the guys pulled a gun and shot him to death over $1. He wanted to shot my baby son because they were trying to get this guy to leave the home. He got 8 years for killing Eric, and 2 years for the gun. We will always be without my precious baby it will soon be a year since this happened. Eric has two beautiful little boys, Kaleb and E.J.
