Feb 15th 2009 10:41AM My husband flies for SW so I usually have their back on most issues. As far as this one goes I think it's silly really, who cares what's on the outside of the plane? However, I do think it's a bit telling that the execs at SW can't agree on a contract with their pilots for over 2 years now because "today's economic times are tough for everyone" but they have the money to blow on painting this woman on the side of a plane. I'm just saying..........

May 29th 2008 3:01PM I know this may seem frivolous to some but every little penny helps. The airlines are struggling with fuel costs just like the rest of us and they have huge overheads. Those pennies will probably add up to hundreds of thousands of dollars in savings which in my book are no pebbles my friend. We all need to be patient and understand that the airlines are not doing this to spite us, they are just trying to hold their heads above water.
