Jul 8th 2009 3:49PM Even though it is wrong for medicaid to take such a long time when time is so important the insurance companies are no different. Did you all not read about the young girl, not yet 18, who needed a transplant or drug that the insurance company decided she didn't need. After a long drawn out battle of the parents fighting to make them pay they agreed to pay the morning the girl passed away. So sad and unlike medicaid these insurance companies are being paid very good premiums, they are aren't free. Cigna health care were her providers, I had them at the time and would have loved to be able to discontinue my insurance based on ethics but with kids there is no way I could afford another insurance.

Jun 1st 2009 1:16PM You're right murder is wrong so why should you be for any type of abortion, wether it be late term or early? Murder is wrong either way you look at it. Does anybody know why the man shot him? Because to be honest if I were a man and found out he killed one of my children,even knowing murder is wrong there is nothing to say it wouldn't cross my mind. The 'good' doctor is murdering children and the fathers of those children have no say.
Many have tried to change those laws thorugh voting but unfortunately sometimes it seems the ones who want to murder babies outnumber those who don't. The laws protect baby killers while trying the rest of the murderers.
As far as guns go, hate to break it to you but it is the people behind those guns who are a prblem not the guns.. Should I come put a sign in your yard that says you are against guns? Then maybe all the theiving no good lowlifes will frequent a safer place to do their business..
I shouldn't lose my right to defend my family because you think the gun is what killed a person. If we don't have guns people will use something else to murder with, maybe knives then we can outlaw those, bats next there goes baseball, forks? Who need to eat? Get real, there will always be a weapon as long as people have the urge to kill. So shal we take anything that poses a threat away for fear of somebody doing harm? I have guns galore but am I gonna shoot a person? I hope not but if it comes to protecting my family you better bet I won't think twice and i can assure , even being a lady, I have very accurate aim.
I am an easy going loving person who would give the shirt off my back to help somebody but don't mess with my family or any child when Ia m around. There is right and there is wrong and I should continue to have the right to defend that...

She is all about using her assets to gain ground in whatever it is she wants. The attitude on her goes right along with it.
There are many beautiful women singers but they don't try to prove they are as dumb as can be and rely on their body..
They show how smart they are and they dress sexy but classy and they put more effort into what matters instead of what others think.
She could be more but she chooses not to be which is rather sad.

Nov 26th 2008 6:27PM If Jesus isn't the reason for the season then please enlighten the rest of us as to what we are celebrating? I would love to know. If you don't believe in Jesus that is perfectly fin but nobody is cramming anything down your throat. The first thing I ask a person is not wether they believe in Jesus or not. Now don't get me wrong I may talk about God but it's part of my life just as I would talk about my kids or anything else for that matter. I don't tell you what parts of your life you are allowed to speak of so why should it apply to me? I like people, don't care much what they believe. Yes I am a christian and yes I am proud enough of it that i will speak of it but I don't judge you for what you believe. My job as a christian is to tty to educate so I will but if you ask me not that is fine as well. I will not preach or try to teach you about God but I will not try to act like it is not a part of my life. I have that right as an American and it is to bad more people who claim to be christians are so judgemental and rude to others. Because they give the rest of us a bad name. Jesus is the reason Christmas is celebrated. Others may celebrate whatever they choose to but the real reason Christmas was ever celebrated was because of Jesus. If you don't believe in Jesus then celebrate something on a different day nobody says you have to celebrate Christmas but if you are going through the rituals then exactly what are you doing? Celebrating?

What gives any person the right to choose wether their child gets to live or not? It is murder to kill a baby and you can say it's your own body but guess what... THat baby is not part of your body it is it's own person with it's own DNA. SO keep making excuses to try to make it okay in your head.

PCL, here's an idea... Get off your butt and work for your money! I had a baby when I was 16 and my mom and dad couldn't afford to raise my child so guess what I did.. Imagine that.. If you want something there are ways to get it and the means is out there if want it and aren't to lazy to get it.

Jul 9th 2008 5:56PM People don't care to help anybody but themselves anymore until they need help themselves. From what I read it says the man let the airline know that she needed the lift but the lift didn't show. It seems to me that the airline should have found out why it didn't show and fix the problem immediately not three days later make them figure out a way to do it on their own. The woman is disabled and with todays technology there should be no reason that she would have to travel any way other than how she chooses to. It is the people who pose a problem, if the airlines had respected her and her husband then they would have been sure to get a lift for her. They deserve more than 200 dollars for the trouble and time they were out waiting to board the flight 3 days later. Yes some lawsuits are crazy but if people had a little respect there wouldn't be so many. Yes common sense lawsuits should not be encouraged but had you been out to catch a flight, with them knowing you needed a lift to get on the plane, and you had to wait 3 days to get on board because there was no lift would you be happy? To top it off you had to carry your wife and risk hurting her to get on the plane 3 days late and you tell me you would not think to seek reimbursement? You are full of BS! Nobody would wait three days to get on plane they should have had no problems boarding to begin with.

Jun 8th 2008 9:59AM I think the pants are crazy. I do think if you educate your child early on then you have a better chance of them not going around making a fool of themselves. I don't care what anybody says. You can say they are going to do it anyway but do you ,that have daughters, really want your girl to known as the one who sleeps around. The one all guys want to date for one reason? I hope not because the first time they sleep with a guy everybody knows and from then on out that is how they know her. I could care less for my daughter to be known that way. When you talk to your child you have to let them know the risks they take when they make their choice. There are so many who are not only clueless about the issue but about the diseases and all as well. I teach my kids the statistics about STD's and make sure they know the risk they take. They know about all the issues. I teach my kids that when they have sex then they have kids young and then they struggle through life. If they are willing to wait then they have the chance to offer not only themselves a better life but their family as well. I ask my kids what they want out of life. My kids will be there first to tell you that they want to wait until they are married because they want an education and all the good things in life before kids. I also let them make that choice I didn't force them. I told them how life could be either way and then asked which life they would perfer. I had my son when I was 16 and we have a good life so that was his first comment. You had me young but we have alot. I explained that we got lucky. Dad got his foot in the door at a good job and worked day and night to get where he is and we struggled alot on the way. He understands every bit of it. Would you rather your kid get the info from you or from no telling where? I know that if my son comes to me with questions then I can be sure he has the correct answer.

May 29th 2008 1:44PM Unfortunately it's not just the kids who are diagonosed with disabilities that suffer through school. I had a kid in school who would befirend the ones who were made fun of and because of that the other kids made his life miserable. He was always being made fun of or hit and kicked. You name it and they would do it to him. It got so bad I had to take him out of the school because after being held to the wall by a few kids while they tried to get some others to beat him up the principal told my husband that some kids were gonna get picked on and there is nothing you can do to change that. The sad part is my son is a very smart kid. He made a 100 on his TAKS test, was in the book club, and cared to learned. He has a need to learn. Now I am trying to homeschool him as I pray everyday that I can teach him everything he needs to know plus all the other things that he has a want to learn. He is so much happier at home though than he was in school. The teachers have got to where they don't care and it is because they are allowed to get by with it. There are not alot of people out there willing to stand up and say We will not allow this anymore. I will be glad to see the day people get fed up and decide to put a stop to this kind of thing.
