I think this is a good move. I studied abroad for four weeks this past summer in Holland and I can tell you that this will be one of the greatest experience of your life especially for the kids.

Many Thanks for sharing your Haiti thing, I find it very interasting because for my orientation into college all freshman at the college I go had to read a book on the medical conditions in Haiti and how some guy named Paul Farmer imporved them, needless to say it is amazing how anyone would go in there. BTW where are you off to next? I enjoy the blog since I am a Certfiable Airplane Junkie.
