May 16th 2008 5:24PM The Champions League Final is hosted in major cities around Europe, of countries that are part of the UEFA Confederation (a football/soccer governing body in Europe).
Moscow as a venue for the 2008 Final was decided over 2 years ago. It's unfortunate you're not a football (soccer) fan, because no matter which teams had made it to the final, Moscow would have been swamped by fervent fans of 2 clubs. It just so happens that for the first time in history, 2 English clubs have made it to the final.
Good luck, and avoid Moscow on the 21st :)
