Hezbollah theme park: an attraction designed with terror in mind {Gadling}

Oct 2nd 2010 5:34PM When Pearl Harbor was bombed America responded with the Nuclear Bomb, was that called for? I bet you don't mind because we won, and now you get to live an awesome life here and get to judge those who suffer in other parts of the world. If Canada attacked America we would defend ourselves, we wouldn't be like "Oh sorry for being here Canada, please do take our land!". No, we would fight back and maybe win and then we would celebrate the victory just like everyone else in the world.

Also, this is not a religious war. It is not the Jews against the Muslims, it is Israel against Lebanon. Lebanon is made up of 40% Christians and they have fought and died for their country just like the Muslims there do, side by side.

PETA Plans Preakness Protest {Fanhouse Backporch}

May 7th 2008 9:24PM I own horses and have seen what the racing industry can do to a horse. I have even more of a personal experience with the abuse they suffer because I bought an ex race horse last year who is still suffering from the effects of the drugs in his system, the stress put on his legs, and the emotional abuse he suffered by never being able to bond with another human or horse. I read all of PETA's arguments about horse racing and as a competitor, professional and as a horse owner I can tell you that all of them were valid.

You people in the show industries are sheltered from the real abuse that so many horses suffer. I was the same way and then I learned better by actually paying attention to the people competing around me and by listening to the things that trainers were saying. I will say that not the whole industry is corrupt but most of it is because it's hard to make money off an animal that is not designed for such stress at such a young age. If you really, really, really want to win a futurity when a horse is shown at two then you have to start training them at one. Seriously what is this industry coming to? I still see horses peanut rolling in the training pen. So what if they have their head right in the show ring, when they're practicing the same abuse is going on as it has for a long time. It sickens me.

As for PETA being extreme, would they ever get their point across if they weren't? Who would care if all they did was hand out fliers? By being extreme they get attention, and by getting attention they get their word out.
