Jun 19th 2008 10:38PM Basashi (horse sashimi) is pretty good, especially with the mustard (or whatever that is) sauce that comes with it. Whale bacon is pretty good, too. I ate that without knowing what it was. I was informed mid-meal of what I was eating, maintained my composure, and finished it. But, I won't eat whale again for personal reasons.

May 11th 2008 9:21AM The things that drive Japanese people to suicide are the same things that drive people to suicide in countries all over the world. What enables many Japanese to actually follow through with the act is the way the topic has been handled throughout Japan's history. Even in this day and age, many Japanese people still see the suicide solution as an honorable way out.
