Bribery, behind closed door meetings, backdoor deals is how governments become corrupt. The USA has seen a two party system for most of it's 200 plus years. That helped us stay away from what we see going on in Washington since Obama and the Democrats stopped listening to the voters. Democrats are greedy over power and want bigger government to control you and me.

Dec 29th 2008 12:43PM This country is facing a lot of problems. Alaska is one state that has turned things around for the good. Name another state that can claim that? Palin has done good for Alaska. No one can argue against her job performance, unless they are truly idiots. It is a shame the Republicans went along with the policies of the Democrats for the past 16 years. Democrats are working hard for the poor, giving them loans they will never payback and putting our country in a tail spin. When Republicans called for a hearing on Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac it was the Democrats lining up to defend those companies saying there was no trouble there so why fix it. So Democrats were involved with the banking industry for allowing regulations to force banks to take on risky loans. Then we have auto workers union that have forced US automakers to go belly up. Again Democrats and the auto unions are working together to put businesses out of business. Every problem we see today is a direct result of Democrats and the Republicans for allowing Democrats to push bad ideas on us. Democrats took control of government 2 years ago and we are much worse off. A president never wrote a single bill that I heard of, bills come from the House and not the oval office.

Nov 20th 2008 9:24AM Dear Robert You must be new to NASCAR racing. The cars that are racing are nothing like the cars you buy at the showroom. The cars you buy at the showroom are 4 door sedans. NASCAR also has a common template. This means all the cars are alike. The race car is wider and the wheelbases are different. The days of using factory sheetmetal ended when the auto industry downsized. The number one expense race teams are hurting over is DRIVERS and the amount they demand to do something they would do for free or in many cases paid to do. With all the layoffs being made by race teams are due to the high expenses paid to the drivers. The COT cars hurt the teams deeply, but it is the drivers making about 10 millions dollars a year that has hurt NASCAR the most.

Oct 30th 2008 10:50PM Marxists for Obama We are at a time that turning to a marxist government makes sense. I like the idea of getting welfare checks and let government decide everything I do. Who are we to make our own choices?
So what if we lose jobs? We will be punishing businesses for making a profit for all those years. Once the businesses fail the government can buy them up like they did the banks.
Obama is for failed businesses and I support him.

And now has to plan to race for a team that is out of the top 35 in points and will end up going out of business. His co car owner is a felon in prison. And his new engine suppiler (Rick Hendrick) is also a convicted felon who served one year. It must be bad when everyone around you is a convicted felon..

Jul 11th 2008 10:48PM Tony was upset over Kyle Busch making him look bad so far this year. Tony likes to feel on top and hates to be ranked 3rd on a 3 car team.
Kyle won 13 races in NASCAR so far this year and at only halfway 6 cup 5 Nationwide and 2 truck races. Not bad for a kid fired by Hendrick to make way for another driver. I think it was a grown man called Jr.
Can someone tell me who this Jr guy is? Is he still racing?
