The great American road trip: Montana here we come {Gadling}

Jul 7th 2008 2:30PM Yay! I am so excited for you that you are going to Montana! I went this past Spring.

I blogged about it recently, and hope you'll have a look. The Feed Lot steakhouse outside of Billings is a must-do! Huge cuts, awesome ambience

The post (with all the deets) is here: here:http://tinyguide.typepad.com/home/travel_usa_montana_wyoming/index.html

Montana is so great! Have an awesome trip!

Can you buy your way out of hell with carbon offset fees? {Gadling}

Apr 22nd 2008 11:28AM I wrote a bit about this issue in a post about NYC being a bona-fide green destination for eco-friendly travellers. So many "green" destinations are so far away that they become practically black when you factor in the CO2 emissions! It would be funny if it didn't kill baby dolphins!

Thoughts on the Lonely Planet scandal: Guidebooks are a sham {Gadling}

Apr 14th 2008 9:41AM I agree that you are perhaps being a little harsh. I think that guidebooks can be a crutch for thos who need one, bt also a jumping off point for some real adventures. Find you first hotel and a place to eat when you have jet lag and exploration can still happen on day 2...
