Mar 1st 2011 7:53PM When President JC (you know,the peanut farmer) said we need to build smaller cars and upgrade our nukes,we responded by electing an actor who rode a horse and ate jelly beans.By now we could be seeing some of that responsible effort paying off.France is 80% nuclear.We are going to have to create jobs in the green sector-solar power,etc. The government better stop waiting for the private sector to just jump up and start this show.It takes a long term committment, for a return on investment-& that isn`t a favorable trait for venture capitalists.No,indeed if ever there was a time for Uncle Sam to take a place in this country this is it.And stop demonizing labor unions for God`s sake.It took years to stop exploitation like China has----and now Republicans want to eliminate any representation?C`mon,you guys.Be real here.
