Dec 19th 2011 3:04PM The fact is, our dedicated public officials don't want to solve this problem as this, like everything else, justifies their existence; this' the same as weather mitigation, technologies exist to downgrade hurricanes and tornadoes, yet, our dedicated public officials refuse to implement such technologies, prefering people to die and property be destroyed, THESE ARE EVEN.....MADE IN USA!!!, one of these would create a new industry with related new jobs!!!, but, NO-ONE WANTS TO HEAR ABOUT THIS.

Dec 19th 2011 2:58PM The foreclosure problem could have been solved sometime ago, but, our dedicated public officials refuse to do so. The White House has given billions of dollars to the banks to solve this problem, but, the banks have taken the money and invested most of it overseas, dedicating a small percentage to the problem and claim to be resolving the problem when everyone knows this' not so.

Apr 27th 2011 2:18PM This' stupidity to the Nth. degree, to think that by increasing contact with outsiders will encourage Cubans to cut ties with the Castro brothers.
This' a clear indication of the lack of understanding by our dedicated public officials of the situation in Cuba.
It is very interesting that we are spending billions to bring freedom to people who actually hate us but do nothing to bring freedom to people who would appreciate us 90 miles away
The truth of the matter is clear, our government is bieng blackmailed and none will do anything, not the republicans, and definetively, not the democrats.

Feb 18th 2011 11:59AM I realize this suggestion is OUT OF THE QUESTION, as politicians is concerned, and, no-one has brought this up, but, how about reducing politicians compensation, including retirement plans, by 20.0%, I'm sure this will help balance most states and it is clear a teacher is worth a great deal more than any politician.

Besides, once you reach 55 yrs., it doesn't matter what your experience is, YOU ARE OUT.
