Feb 14th 2012 9:42AM Your segment on NYC is good but I noticed 2 important mistakes:
(1) Manhattan STREETS RUN EAST TO WEST with 5th AVENUE dividing west from east. Avenues run NORTH TO SOUTH - at 8th avenue and 34th street, you are on West 34th, not West 8th.
(2) The planetarium that is part of The Museum of Natural History does NOT focus on astrology- it's focus is astronomy.

Mar 25th 2008 10:11AM Are we ever going to stop requiring others to keep our standards? Wasn't the point of racial equality to establish a mindset where skin color didn't matter? If a white person told James that he should not be with a white woman or should not want a woman because she was white, he would be branded a racist for what he said. But we are not racists because of what we say; we are racists according to what we think. And if the thought is the same, the skin color does not keep it from being racist. Years ago Malcolm X warned his listeners to be careful not to trade one master for another. Please! Let's stop telling anyone about what they should or should not do according to their skin color...regardless of our own skin color. Free your mind; the rest of us are waiting for you!!
