Apr 13th 2010 2:56PM I used to work for Ringling Bros. in 1989-1990. I used to put the costumes on the Elephants. Let me tell you that I have never seen any type of abuse whatsoever. The Circus makes every effort to protect the animals for the simple fact that it is in the best interests of the Circus to do so.

Apr 12th 2010 7:26PM I completely understand why the adoptive mother had to send the child back.
I have a daughter that is extremely violent, she has many psychological problems that cause her to kick holes in walls, throw objects, tear up things, hit me and her mother and scream at the top of her voice.
We finally had to put her in a group home just for our own mental stability and repair all the damage.
She is doing well in her new environment and we are no longer stessed and injured.
Sometimes a child is just completely out of control and needs proffesional help that the family cannot provide.
