Feb 6th 2012 5:36PM " A little unknown fact is more people die falling off donkeys than they do in plane crashes" Glad I saw this I was just making reservations to take a donkey from lax to ord.
Jun 4th 2011 7:37PM "Jet planes don't "glide to the ground" they drop"
Actually, jets can glide..A canadian airbus that ran out of fuel glided approx 170 miles to a safe landing in the Azores. There was a tv documentary about it.
Sep 25th 2010 7:45PM You're welcome. Remember the old saying everyone wants to go to heaven, but nobody wants to die.
Sep 25th 2010 7:17PM In 1974 I flew L.A. to NYC for $250.00 round trip, adjusted for inflation (google "inflation calculator") that would be $1107.00 today. Orbitz has a price r/t of $278.00 (advance booking)right now. We are not paying for the level of service we had back in the good old days and to expect it is very naive. Airlines that try to give anything more than cheap basic service don't last long. With the wages that F/A's earn (and they do earn it) I'm surprised anyone would do it, give'em a break.
Oct 9th 2009 11:41AM Do foreign car dealers have service depts? Are those techs working on American cars? Puleez! I would rather put Americans to work than foreign workers. I will continue to buy, drive and enjoy GM and Chrysler cars. P.S. I'd rather eat worms than drive a Ford.
Mar 20th 2008 11:21AM "but I'm at Dunkin evey day..2 donuts and a great cup of coffee for $ 3.60....you can't beat that........." Actually you can, come into my D/D and you'll get 2 donuts and the best coffee in America for $2.85 (tax included)
